I finished Trail of Lightening (I feel like this series has promise, but it's the first book and it's basically brand new, so I'm going to be waiting awhile), and Click Here to Kill Everyone, and I've started The House by the River (an Amazon freebie that's a translation of a Greek author) and The Butcher and the Vegetarian (to fulfill my last book challenge of the year, a book about food).
I've surpassed my goal of 60 books for the year; I'm currently at 65. But if I finish the two I'm reading now, and read 3 graphic novels (or other short things) I think I can hit 70 for the year, which is what I'm aiming for now, but I haven't updated my Goodreads goal, because I'd rather surpass my original goal than fail at a new last minute goal. LOL!
QOTW: How would it work if I give up music for a year, but am still watching TV/movies? Will they all be like A Quiet Place, and have no sound track? Can I not go out shopping or to restaurants? Because in theory I don't really "listen" to music except when I'm driving, and that would be easily replaced by audiobooks or podcasts, but in practice there is ambient music around me all the time.
