I need ideas for my mom, MIL, and SIL. I kept putting it off thinking that they're so easy to buy for. Now I can't think of anything.
Any new makeup or beauty kits or ideas for SIL?
MIL plays golf, sews, quilts, and likes spending time at their cabin in the mountains. She hates makeup, lotions, spa gift cards etc.
Basically every quilter I know never passes up an opportunity to add to their "stash" of fabric. So you could go for something like a set of fat quarters (fabric), or a gift card to a good local quilting shop.
What is everyone getting their DH? $100 price range.
I got him the Samsung Gear 360. It's a handheld VR panorama video camera. He coaches basketball and takes E skiing a lot, plus we vacation on cruise ships and in other countries, so I thought he would have fun with it. $80.
My DS is 3.5 and getting a Lite Brite, a couple of Bruder trucks (check out Homegoods if you have one nearby- they always have great deals!), Lincoln Logs, Picasso Tiles and a box of Duplos.

I was wondering about a lite bright!
We opted for a take apart truck, Candy Land, a Mo Willems book and a Blaze and the Machine shirt with a cape.

Interesting about the Lite Brite. Both DH and I agreed Kid1 (4y4m a few days after Christmas) was too young, plus we have Kid2 who is only 2.5 and definitely too young to be around those tiny parts. I remember getting one around age 6-7, so we’re waiting until at least next year.
I don’t even know if I should buy gifts in this situation ... opinions?
My brother and FSIL are hosting a restaurant dinner for both families next week - it’s a Christmas gift and also so we can all meet each other before their wedding. Her family is her parents, her single sister, and her married sister with an H and DD. My family is my mom, my sister and her BF, and then me and MH and our DD.
I already planned on getting a gift for FSIL’s niece since FSIL has gotten lots of Just Because gifts for my DD. Plus I like buying Christmas gifts for kids.
But should I get something for her parents and sisters as well? A box of chocolates or something? I hate overgifting, but I also feel cheap and thoughtless if I show up somewhere empty-handed and then someone gives me a gift, so I don’t want to get caught with my pants down if her family has gifts for any of us.
I texted my sister to ask what she’d planned and she said she hadn’t really thought about it.

I need help for my cousin's husband, who we don't really know. We know he loves to cook with his sous vide, likes the Red Sox, and just got married so likely has lots of fun new kitchen gadgets. $25 limit. Penzey's spices?

I would not in this case.
Thanks - I actually texted my brother to ask if his futureILs might get us something (DUH) and he said no ... just something for my DD ... so that’s a relief. I got something for the niece so that’s done.

I was going to get her a Barbie styling head but then my SIL bought her something really similar. She has talked about Shopkins, but she still sometimes puts things in her mouth and I am not comfortable giving her something so small yet. She loves baby dolls (already has enough) and princesses and anything traditionally girly.
I got this (plus PJs and a small Play Doh set) for our friends' 4YO DD and she colored it the entire time she was at our house. I picked it up at Marshall's for about four bucks. I got another version for her brother too: www.melissaanddoug.com/foil-coloring-pad---favorite-things/30303.html
The Play Doh was also from Marshall's and under $10. She wanted to open it but her parents said no because my toddler DD was there.

Another idea is Colorforms (reusable sticker sets). Target has a retro holly hobby dress up set and Melissa and Doug makes a bunch of different kinds, including a play house, animals, etc.

My DH is a huge sports fanatic and there’s a lot of cool retro/ vintage team t-shirts in that price range. I like to find ones that are more unique than the typical team shirts. You could find one for Fenway Park, the Green Monster sign (or Boston in general if he doesn’t live there).

Sometimes themed PJs are a big hit with kids - ex:
