I made Sangria for the first time this past weekend. It was so delicious. I made it with a red wine and was wondering if any of you ladies had any recipes for a white wine sangria? I'm not the biggest red wine fan.
Here is the recipe I used over the weekend:
1 medium bottle Vendage Merlot 1 cup Blackberry Brandy 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup Orange juice 1/4 cup fresh lime juice 1/2 orange sliced 1/2 lemon sliced
I let it sit over night and it was so good. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like Sangria! :drink:

I keep my Sangria really simple. White wine, peach juice a little orange juice then I throw a bunch of fruit in. The more the merrier. Oranges, peaches, apples, whatever you've got. I don't add sugar, but sometimes will throw in a bit of sweet tea.

What I like to do, when making sangria, is I take all of my fruit and soak it in a simple syrup (1 part sugar to 1 part boiling water) so everything gets slightly cooked and nice and sweet. When it's all cool, then I add it to my wine. For red, I like using Malbec. For white, usually a pinot grigio or if you like it really sweet go for a German riesling.
