Since we have gone down the wellie wishers rabbit hole my dd has ended up with a bunch of little pieces/clothes/accessories. Any ideas to keep it organized? I’ve decided to only buy American girl brand clothes/accessories to keep the quantity limited. (Although we did that with bitty baby and she has a Rubbermaid tote of clothes! They are so much more durable and can be stuffed in a bin- Wellie wishers not so much). My dd’s Birthday is next month so I need to figure out a system before the next round of toys hit.
I'll tell you what we do. In no way am I pretending I have this problem solved!
We just have a set of stacking clear plastic Sterilite drawers for most Wellie Wisher stuff. We don't try to keep outfits and shoes together. Everything little just goes in the drawers.
They have the cocoa set (which is darling and one of the cutest toys ever!), and I keep that in the original box. It's kind of big, but it works for now.
My older DD has a lot of American Girl, so she stores some of the Wellie Wisher sets in her room. I bought her something like this: www.homedepot.com/p/Stalwart-16-5-in-57-Compartment-Parts-and-Crafts-Portable-Storage-Small-Parts-Organizer-4-Box-Set-75-MJ4645102/206694572 She has 3 or 4 of these big boxes that are about 4 inches deep. She can put small accessory sets in the compartments, and I liked that some compartments are bigger than others. Most things fit. the larger things that don't, she puts in a bin in her closet. It would work super well for a collector....but the way you have to haul it out and flip open the whole top means she hardly ever actually puts sets away where they are supposed to go. They end up all mixed up all over, and then periodically we clean up and try to put the sets back together in the bin. It's definitely not a perfect system.
She also has a separate plastic bin for all the Christmas-related accessories, and a separate bin for "party stuff" that they use really often. Like, they put the pizza set, fruit kabobs, chips, some little drinks, plates, a tablecloth, etc in that one.
We have an embarrassing amount of WellieWishers stuff. I have some nice fabric bins from land of nod. We keep the accessories in one, outfits in another. We have 2 WellieWishers boxes for more delicate small items (they go in the fabric bins). The larger stuff just stays out (playhouse, tent, cocoa stand, and stage).
I have this and it’s perfect! Dolls in one big tub, all the furniture and accessories in another, little tiny accessories sorted into the top ones. And then they play with them on top.

I just got all my old American girl doll stuff from my parents house. I actually had a wardrobe that opens up down the middle. So one side has a hanger rod in it so all the dresses and shirts can be hung on tiny hangers that I still have. And the other side has some shelves and drawers to put shoes and accessories. I vividly remember playing with it all for hours and my mom especially loved having somewhere nice for me to store my stuff.
Cocoa stand is a hit? Dd has the playhouse, bunny hutch, pjs/snow outfits for Ashlyn & Emerson. I have the other 3 dolls & stage in the closet saved for her birthday/Christmas.

We are struggling with storage. But I just want to say the cocoa stand is a huge hit here along with the circus/carnival set. My daughter is 7 and loves it.

The carnival set stuff gets the most play in our house. I had no intention of buying it, but she begged for it all.

Definitely! I think of all the pieces, not including the house, the carriage is the biggest hit with DD, though. She is REALLY into her WW in general. The carnival pieces are next up and then I think she'll age out after that.
ETA: I know the pieces are a bit smaller but I can see her continuing to use much of it with regular AG dolls.
Found these little storage containers at target! I think I’ll do one for each doll. Excited to hear the cocoa stand is a hit! I might pick up the carnival book and read to it dd to see if she is interested- that set is adorable.
ETA- I just stuck some felt pads on the bottom of the playhouse and it will live on top of this storage bin that we already had from land of nod.

My 2 play with it all together. Once we finish our basement, I want to move the playroom down there but then leave the old playroom as a space to combine all the AG stuff. Right now they drag it between their two rooms (DD2 has the WW stuff and DD1 has all the 18 inch doll stuff). Wellies are the little sisters to the full size dolls.
We actually have cocoa and carnival. I just love the cocoa set, personally. They both have gotten played with quite a bit. The carnival was new at a late party on 12/28 so we haven't had that one as long.
