I’m not much of a fashion person and usually like everything she and Kate wear but I think she could have done better than that bird dress (I saw more pics on Facebook). I like the fabric okay but the execution along with her belly just makes me think grandma dressing gown.

Maybe it looks better from the front but from this side view it doesn’t looks to really fit. It’s gaping up by the chest and the waist is terrible. I
I think it actually looks better than the last two appearances which pictures are in this thread...she's carrying SO high (I have never seen a pregnant woman carry so high before). The bump is right under her bustline, but her hips are like pre-preg. Anything she wears that is form fitting or clingy at all just looks odd to me.
She does have a very short torso and is at the point where dressing her bump basically requires maternity wear. I can understand why she wouldn’t want to considering options are so limited, especially when you are being photographed and tracked in public.
I’m the inverse and have super short legs and a long torso. I can get away with non/maternity clothes for a pretty long time, or regular empire waist clothes work for me. Maternity clothing options suck. That is all.
I think she might be further along than they are saying. She's looking pretty pregnant for a 6-7 month pregnancy, especially for someone who is a first time mom and very fit. She looks like I did shortly before I delivered #1 (and she is far fitter than I was pre-pregnancy).
She looks gorgeous though. She does pregnancy well.

Her and my friend are due around the same time and my friend is about the same size or bigger. She was stick skinny before so I think this doesn’t look like she’s further along.

No, it's like we were saying upthread, she has a really short torso. It's why she was showing so early (at Eugenie's wedding). And Kate has a long torso so she doesn't show until she's already almost halfway through.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s cool to comment on the size of a pregnant woman’s bump. How many times on these boards do we talk about how it’s never okay to make a comment about someone else’s body shape or size??? Us not knowing her doesn’t make it okay. Her being a public figure does not make it okay.
I think she looks great, and it sounds like she’s going to do amazing things with her patronages. I think she looks more put together when she wears maternity-specific clothing vs. flowy non-maternity clothing, but I know that options are limited sometimes.
I really like the print on the dress and am also really glad there is not a picture of me every day of my pregnancy, lol.
I have a really long torso and didn’t gain much weight with DS who was a fairly small baby (6 pounds full term) so I took forever to show. People kept wanting me to flaunt my bump and I was still wearing my regular jeans. I don’t think there is really a way to win the bump game.
March 10 is a good birthday. (mine) DS is March 21, also highly recommended. 😀

I agree. She is gorgeous, pregnant or not. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. I'm a little impatient for her to have her baby

Apparently Rosie Londoner is pregnant now too- popped up on my instagram feed yesterday. She has a great maternity style that I would expect to see on Meghan. Classy London but still trendy.

She is also refusing to wear maternity, just sizing up in normal clothes.

Noticed that too. But she seems to be pulling it off.

That is because her job is to take still, professional pictures while Meghan is out here in the wild getting basically attacked by the paps. I’m pretty sure Rosie either can’t move or has that shit clipped with a butterfly clip to flatter the most. She is the queen of knowing her angles.
Oh, true. I know that- I'm talking about the actual style.
I don't actually like that Letizia look at all. The flashback from the bra is unfortunate, but that aside, that skirt looks like it was left folded in a drawer for too long. Obviously that's what its supposed to look like, but I don't understand why. Also don't love the buttons down the front combined with the belt. And it's just a lot of suede for one look with the boots. Some textural contrast would be nice maybe? Or something.

It reminds me of something my aunt (reasonably fashionable) wore circa 1994.
I totally forgot about Rosie- I’m okay with that. I’m feeling crotchety “off my lawn” she is not a royal, get her out of here. (Mostly sarcastic)
I forgot about her too or that I was even following her on Instagram. I was just shocked that I actually liked her maternity style and have not been in awe of most of Meghan's. Plus I think that black turtleneck dress would look amazing on Meghan, especially with a low bun and pointed heels.

Yeah.. this is kind of terrible, IMO. Definitely something my aunts would wear in the 90s.
