I've made progress on The Invention of Murder, but my library e-hold for the new Cassandra Clare book just came in and I'm switching to that.
QOTW: Human languages. It would greatly expand my job qualifications because translators are always needed. Plus, knowing what animals were thinking would probably break my heart over and over again.
I just finished the audio of Barking to the Choir. I’m going to miss father Greg’s voice. Also, such a positive message! Started listening to Next Year in Havana. Good so far. Still plugging away at 4321. It’s interesting enough to keep reading but doesn’t make me want to pick it up.
I'm reading The InBetween Days. I'm intrigued by it but also horrified by it. One of my 'unfounded' fears is that when I die, I'll be forced to watch a montage of all the stupid things I've done in my life. The gist of the novel is that the main character is in a coma and she's taken back to all these memories she has, but they're all cringeworthy and/or making her realize she's not been a great friend/sister/daughter/whatever.
QOTW: I'd rather know every human language. That would be far more interesting to me.
