shauni27, I can count on one hand how many times he's ended up in our bed since he turned 1, because he loves it and I don't want to start the habit (I sleep like shit when he's in our bed, he has to be touching me and my face at all times lol). This morning on the walk to school he was talking about sleeping in mama and daddy's bed and I was all "that was a special treat, but tonight you're going to sleep in your cribby!" and he was all "no, I sleep in mama's bed". ::face palm:: so we'll see how tonight goes...

shauni27, that was us two nights ago. He got up to go to the bathroom around 2:45 and was up until at least 4:25 after that. And when he gets up at night I have to come in his room and lay on the floor until he goes back to sleep and it’s the worst! Every time I thought he was out and tried to sneak out his little head would pop up and tell me to lay back down. I don’t like it but I’ve also tried to keep him out of our bed.
AND don’t congratulate me on self control just yet. I was trying to think of some cute way to surprise H when he got home tomorrow but couldn’t think of anything so I just texted him and told over my lunch break! 😄
Omg what is with these kids last night? A woke up around 3 because she wanted a drink of water, and then went full on psychotic fit when I gave her tap water and not sparkling water. Screaming at me and throwing herself around in bed. We had a long talk this morning about it and I told her she'd have to apologize for waking up my parents, but she didn't look like she was inclined to apologize when I left for work, so who knows if it happened.
P often ends up in our bed middle of the night. Last night he wouldn’t go to sleep. Just screamed and stood in his crib for 45 minutes. So I just grabbed him and went to bed with him at 9. Not fun but that’s very unlike him so he was struggling.
We’ve had a week of wake ups so I wonder if he’s getting two year molars early.
Add us to the list of horrendous nights. DS had a low grade fever last evening (100.7) and we put him to bed at his usual time, but he was tossing and turning until midnight. Then he just started wailing in his crib. Got him up, changed him, took his temp, gave him Tylenol, gave him a bottle (he didn't eat a whole lot before bed) and he eventually went back down until 230. Then cried and fussed off and on pretty much until 5 when DH brought him in to bed. And then I had to get up at 515. I'm going to be exhausted today.
I woke up this morning (4am, baby was crying) and our 6 year old was in our bed. I must've been really tired because it didn't even wake me up when he climbed into the bed. We have a rule that he can't come downstairs until at least 6am, but I didn't have it in me today to wake him up and send him back upstairs.

It’s official, baby #2 is on board! Beta today at 9dp5dt was 196, I go back Tuesday for another draw. !!!!!!
On a much less fun note, we were supposed to go to in-laws yesterday for a long weekend and do MLB opening day and take G to the zoo, etc. Well on Wednesday FIL got diagnosed with the flu so we cancelled those plans and then yesterday H got sick. So instead of a long fun weekend it’s a full work week and probably weekend solo parenting. Ughh!
My 15 day old did that thing we do not speak of last night. I woke up at 4 am because my boobs hurt so bad. Of course, I slightly panicked and checked on him and he was fine. I had pump an ounce off each for comfort. He woke up at 4:30am just to eat, back to sleep, then didn't wake until 8am! I'm sure it's a fluke but dang, that was nice.
I even asked H if he was awakened at all, thinking maybe I just didn't hear any crying, but H said nope, he genuinely slept.
