I need to go through my samples more often. I found a sample for Coola BB cream with SPF 30. That would have been fantastic to try out for the outdoor party I went to on Saturday.

Here's a fun 7 day tutorial for the ABH Sultry palette. I've done 2 days and plan to do the rest. It's given me some great new ideas for a palette I already have.

followyourarrow, I just got this palette. Can you please provide the link?

I have used the Game of Thrones eyeshadow palette a lot this week and like it a lot! The purples are not awesome (why does the industry have so much trouble with purple, and the round ones on the side by themselves are not too pigmented and give a lot of fallout all day— but I like all the other ones a lot! The gold GoT eyeliner is also wonderful.
I have also been enjoying Sweet Peach eyeshadows a lot. I bought it last year with points and did not use it at all but I am loving it this spring.

I also saw fabulous some reviews for a new Biore sunscreen on reddit— Athlizm? I don’t know if our temps are extreme enough generally but I always like trying a new product. www.kao.com/global/en/news/2018/20181219-002/
calico, am I remembering correctly that you bought the Coppertone sunscreen with shimmer in it? If so I'd love to hear a review. Ads keep popping up for me, and I'm thisclose to buying it for our upcoming trip to Disney because a little extra sparkle will not look out of place there.

Coola mineral bb cream smells bad and has barely any tint. If I actually wanted tint to show up I'd have to use a huge amount. Also, it feels slimy. Here ends my first impression review.
ETA: The nasty odor has dissipated for the most part after a few minutes. I am still getting a slight whiff every once in awhile.

Yep! Haven’t had the chance to use it yet because it’s been rainy and cloudy. But it’s sunny today, so I’ll put some on when I go out this afternoon.

ESF remind me again what your skin-type is? Thinking about trying the Supergoop CC cream. It says oily and combo on Sephora web site but I tend to be hesitant of using products for oily skin specifically during the summer here.

I'm wondering if you have a bad tube.
I am super picky about feel and smell and what goes on my face and therefore can't wear most sunscreens; the coola mineral tinted bb cream is my go-to product. I'll agree that it's not really super tinted at all, but I wear it more for the sunscreen, and it's never been smelly or slimy....

That could be, it may be old as well. I thought I got this sample a little earlier in the year but I could be mistaken.

If you are my IG friend you saw this, but I bought an Ulta lipgloss on clearance. The bottle clearly look red, almost an orangey red. But the actual color applies as a dark pink. Its the weirdest thing. I can wear the color, but am a little disappointed because I wanted a red.

So, I totally forgot to update about this. The sunscreen is nice, but it has legit glitter in it. There's no shimmer to be seen. I mean, I'm still going to wear it on the weekends, but not to anywhere "nice" like a date night or anything.

Bare Republic’s shimmer sunscreen is pretty nice. Not chunky glitter but you definitely see where it was applied.

Are you talking about the Diamond dust stick sunscreen? The Coppertone glitter was about the same size as the glitter in Bare Republic, but stood out more because they are bronzey colored. So, not chunky, but still obvious if I put it all over my legs bc I’m pale AF.
I was hoping more for a pearlescent sheen or something, I guess. #OldLady

I’m dry to normal.
While on vacation these last two weeks, I doubled up and put a thin layer of a Coola SPF moisturizer that I had a sample of, let that soak in for a couple minutes, then cover with SuperGoop. I was impressed with how well it held up in the humid, tropical climate.
For evening or for my normal routine when I’m home, I sometimes apply straight out of the bottle but sometimes would first add a light hydrator, like Belif Aqua Bomb, DE B-hydra, etc.

yes that's it. The one I have is rose gold I believe. I applied a couple of stripes and then rubbed in regular sunscreen, it dispersed the shimmer.
FYI -- i just got an email from urban decay and they have the born to run palette marked down to $29 (from $49). i don't see it in sephora's sale section, so looks like just them for now. Didn't check ulta though.

Update - it is marked down at sephora and ulta now too. this is probably gonna be headed my way soon!
For the last couple of weeks I have stopped using foundation. I now just use a decent primer and set my face with Laura Mercier setting powder and Lorac finishing type powder. I haven't really needed to use a concealer at all lately. My skin is happy and I have much less period acne. I also started using a new toner in the am/pm that I really like. I think it could be helping my skin.

This is one of those palettes that goes in and out of my cart and never makes it home. It's now on it's way. I had to order some T3 hot rollers from Ulta and added the palette on to my order. This is the first new eye palette I've ordered since last fall. I think the last one I bought was ABH Sultry, so it's been a while.
I never buy UD palettes anymore until they get marked down.

Help me spend my $100 Rouge reward. I am getting the Born to Run (which I bought & returned once but now it's on sale/ free so will buy again) - not sure what else to get! I just stocked up on a lot of things during the 20% off sale, plus it's scary since you can't return anything using the Rouge Reward.
sephora just marked down a ton of stuff! i made a second order, lol. the chrissy tiegen blush palette was back and that's one i regretted missing out on. it was half price so i ordered it, and threw in a cheap lipstick to hit $25 so i can get the sample of the new too faced mascara. i love better than sex, so i hope this one is as good.
majesty318 - i saw some of the pat mcgrath mothership palettes on sale, if i had 'free' money i would definitely pick one of those up!!

I just got the Natasha Denona Lila palette with my rouge reward. I also love her Bloom Blush palette. The Hourglass Confessions lipsticks are great too.
Also I was told I could make exchanges if you want to return something bought with the reward. You just can’t get the gift card back.

It gets added when they update the rewards page until it sells out again. I’ve noticed it usually the first week of the month on Tuesday or Thursday around 11 or noon depending on your time zone.

It was available this morning. I thought they add some every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 pt?
