AGAIN....if you're embedding Twitter images, some of us behind firewalls can't see them. Please add the text.
I'm sorry, but people aren't ignoring this request because they want to be assholes, but because it's a lot to ask.
For anyone posting from their phone or an iPad and using the Twitter app, there isn't a way to copy and paste the text. It has to be retyped in full, every letter, including long hyperlinks, and done without being able to see the tweet and the post at the same time, so you have to switch apps to capture it accurately.
Screen shots are also very cumbersome from the phone, often may reveal the poster's personal identity depending on how they use Twitter, and don't solve the hyperlink problem.
Can you look at Tapatalk on your phone so you can see the tweets?
Or does anyone have another suggestion?
Unless this is a problem that affects more posters than not, I personally don't think it's fair to demand everyone stop using Twitter and Tapatalk on their phone and only post from a computer if they have something relevant and important to share.
I'm happy to discuss if the problem is more widespread than I am assuming, however.
ETA I just saw pixy's tweet and I strongly disagree with it. Seems easier for the minority of posters to use Tapatalk than for the majority to stop participating.

Yeah, post a link to the news story like we've been doing forever. That's the suggestion. Fucking twitter is the bane of this damn board. When the news starts flowing several things happen: 1) There's a rush to post first so a ton of tweet links with no substantiation. 2) Someone posts something funny. 3) No substantiation. 4) Post about what was posted cause they can't see. 5) Complaints that they can't possibly post any other way. 6) Repeat.
The intelligence officer who filed the whistleblower complaint raised alarms not only about what Trump and Zelensky said in the phone call, but also about how the White House handled records of the conversation, according to two people.
"The whistleblower ... identified multiple White House officials as witnesses to potential presidential misconduct who could corroborate the complaint, the people said — adding that the inspector general for the intelligence community, Michael Atkinson, interviewed witnesses."
...
"Mr. Atkinson eventually concluded that there was reason to believe that the president may have illegally solicited a foreign campaign contribution — and that his potential misconduct created a national security risk, according to a newly disclosed Justice Department memo."
I'm irritated by the Tweets from elected officials (Ds) saying the whistleblower report is worse than they thought BECAUSE I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT SAYS ALREADY!

They're talking about it being released tomorrow. Or they were, but then Trump re-classified it.
It’s not Coats. This is a no-name career Intel civilian.
Oh Trump. This is why you promoted your chief cheater from 2016 into the campaign manager role. He’s supposed to solicit the foreign help away from the official happenings. And now look at you. You done fucked up.
Within hours of Zelensky's victory in April, Trump placed a congratulatory call as he was en route from Mar-a-Lago to Washington. Trump urged Zelensky to coordinate with Rudy Giuliani and to pursue investigations of "corruption."
What has disappointed you? I actually thought the segment about Ukraine discrediting Russia’s involvement was well done.
She's not as gleeful as I want her to be. She's only been talking about impeachment since he took office, and here we are. She was more upbeat with that dumb tax document she took an entire show to build to the excitement for a single piece of paper that didn't show anything.
Sad agreement 🙁 H, who has to wake early, so usually doesn’t make it through, has not been able to stay awake despite his self-assuredness. (“Can’t WAIT to see what Rachel has to say about this!!”) Didn’t miss much, Bud.

Maybe we are all just in a state of shock that we are at this point. I expected to want to open up champagne if impeachment were ever to occur and now that it very well could, it still doesn’t feel real.
Or maybe Rachel did just learn her lesson from the tax return flop.

I feel like it’s really difficult to be excited. We’ve seen him get away with so much, that it seems like he’ll just keep getting away with it. It’s like everyone is just holding their breath right now, afraid that we’ll jinx it if we voice our excitement. But I agree. I would like Maddow to be more excited.

I think that's it, she's been burned before. Like many of us, she's wary of getting her hopes up.
CNN just reported that the whistleblower complaint has been declassified.
Tweet is from a local journalist. CNNs app isn't showing anything
Hold it, hold it. Two sources are reporting the whistleblower complaint has been declassified. One is @repchrisstewart, GOP rt-winger from Utah on House Intelligence. The other is the Gateway Pundit, a notorious right-wing and racist StL-based web site.

Various reports on Twitter that CNN reporting it will not be released tonight.
Here is one of the tweets I saw about it.
#Breaking: Two sources confirm to CNN that the whistleblower's report concerning @realdonaldtrump’s phone conversations with the Ukrainian president, has been declassified. However, the report will not be released at least until Thursday morning.
