I'm actually wearing these for date night tonight:
This sweater from The Loft, both in black and in white:
This wrap dress from Old Navy. It's a faux wrap and super flattering. I got it both in black and the one with white flowers. I love that it can be worn in any season:

OMG, too much to list here. Between losing weight, getting a new job and all of my clothes getting worn out (I hadn't really updated my wardrobe since before getting pregnant with my 6-year-old) I've spent a small fortune. New shoes and boots, new pants (work), and travel essentials for some trips I have coming up. I still need a rain coat/fall coat and new bras, but I'll have to wait for those.

eb777888 that ON wrap dress is great. I actually thinking of getting a back up. I got some raw hem jeans from ON as well and they fit really well. I’ve had more misses than hits lately. I got a Pat McGrath mascara that’s really great (got it 5 months ago, but just opened it).
Light show pixel Christmas trees for the front yard holiday decor. Should be fun to change the light show colors/patterns whenever we want. It will be easy to set up too, so DH thought it was great.
Boring $$$$ house expense...we just (as in 30 minutes ago) got an estimate on re-piping the water line for the original part of the house, the line to the studio and all of the outside faucets, (we currently have a leak in the hot water line in the foundation), and scheduled it for the end of the month. I don't think there will be any fun expenses coming up, but at least we will have hot water again.
I bought a dress (who AM I?) and a cable knit sweater from JJill b/c I liked the picture that keeps popping up on my FB feed (see pic--it's not the same dress, but it's really similar). We'll see. I bought pore coverage products from Sephora. Tanks from Old Navy. Shirts from Loft and pants from NY&Co. A bronze leather Coach Parker wristlet on eBay b/c the one I had was ivory and it's 10 years old--so dirty.
I think I'm engaging in retail therapy right now. I've been dealing with some dredged-up feelings about friendship and old friends that is requiring some diversion. Ergo, new items. I'll end up returning a bunch of the clothes, I assume.
ETA: I also bought the blue Rebecca Taylor jacket from Nordstrom. I hope it fits!
ETA2: Dress/sweater from JJill is going back. Jacket may or may not be going back--it makes me look football-player-ish w/ the shoulder pads. I can't rip the pads out to see if it would look better, b/c then I definitely can't take it back; there's this little "poof" detail that is making my shoulders look even bigger than they are). The arms are also really short, but I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to fit on me (I have long arms--the sleeves end about 3 inches shorter than what it shown in the picture). Now that I just typed all that out, I think I'm going to send it back. The shirts from Loft are a size down from what I normally order, b/c I've been losing weight (yay me), but I don't like the fabric on one of them, and the other one, I might need 2 sizes down b/c of the fabric/cut of the shirt (which is WTF ridiculous).
Besides entirely too much clothing at work (2 pair of jeans, leggings, a raincoat and a tank) I got some beautiful unique pumpkins. I love muted neutrals and my entire house is done in those shades - so score with the pumpkins!
I don't have time right now to link or include photos, but I want to play too.
Faux leather leggings from Amazon. They were under $20 and I'm a size 14, so I don't have high hopes, but they had lots of great reviews.
A work dress at Boscovs today. It was marked at $134, on sale for $50. If I had been alone, I'm not sure I would've spent $50 on it, but my friends were with me and were raving about how flattering and good it looked on me, so it seemed worth it. LOL.
A pair of small black hoop earrings with black rhinestones, also from amazon. I have thin black hoops with a silver ball in my second holes and I wanted something to match that I can just leave in for my bottom holes. We'll see.

Haha, I totally do this, too. Maybe I should get a back up for the black one? I have the body type everyone is always suggesting for wrap dresses, but they never work on me! This one is perfect, though. It's is sooo flattering.
Ooh, I may need to get one of these! I just had breast reduction surgery and one of the things I’m most looking forward to being able to wear now are blazers!
I just bought the AE high rise jeggings (in black and a typical denim) and a pair of AE artist flares. I’ve heard so many great reviews for the high rise jeggings but I never tried them because I used to wear AE a good 15 years ago and figured I was too old for them now, but that is not the case as I love these! I hope they hold up well but considering they cost at least $100 less (a pair!) than the last couple pairs of jeans I’ve bought, I can’t complain.
I also gave in and purchased a barefoot dreams circle cardigan. I don’t know if they are still “cool” but omg it’s the most comfortable thing.
Does a new bike count? It's a Giant gravel bike (for bike geeks 2020 Giant Revolt 2). I sold a few other bikes earlier in the year to pay for it and got my name on the waiting list.
