Is it just me, or has the market for new blush formulas and colors completely dried up?
I don't need any more makeup of any kind. But I was thinking that it's been a long time since I bought a new blush, and maybe there's something pretty and interesting that would be fun to try while the sale is on. But there's not really anything new. There's a few random new brands that have popped up with a couple basic colors, but other than that, the blush section of Sephora looks more or less than same as it did three years ago.
I just bought a few blushes from Sephora. I'm kind of obsessed with Nudestix blush sticks right now. I got a Nudestix, Jouer and Clinque cheekpops trio. They are nothing innovative or new, but I love the formulas.

I got a Nudestix sparkly bronzer thing with Ulta points last spring, and took it on vacation for my easy, beachy blush. It was amazing! But I almost never wear it now, and haven't worn my Bite Multisticks in ages either. I'd definitely get something else from the line, but I'll save it for an Ulta points purchase, since I know I won't get much use out of it unless I'm doing lazy beach makeup.

YES this is what I want.
Becca manages to introduce 48 shades of highlighter every single year. UD does nothing but churn out new Naked palettes. NARS seems to have some new reformulated liquid lipstick/gloss/pencil every six months. You'd think they could manage a blush once in a while.

I miss these so much! I also want Benfit to bring back the original Dallas.

What Jouer blush did you get?
I got the Coquette duo. Its pinky/berry toned. I have 2 other duos and love how they apply and look.
I usually get Nudestix at Ulta too because I like their points system, but Sephora had the color I wanted in a duo with a highlighter stick for a good price. I've never tried their bronzer blush. I'm kind of afraid to try cream bronzer. I don't normally use bronzey colors as blush.
FYI, I logged into my Rakuten account today and had the option to select getting an e-gift card with a boost to my cash back. It was 10% for Sephora! I recommend logging in to check if you have this option, too. Finally!!

I am now realizing I have a slight make-up addiction. Purchased the Shawn Dawson Mini and also pre ordered the Tati palette when they restock. I am such a sucker for eye shadow palettes. I need to declutter some of the ones I don't use anymore or that are well over a year old.

I ran into Sephora yesterday to quickly pick something up and they couldn't find it. 😥 Their website indicates they have it and their in-store system indicated they had 14, but no one could find it. Ugh!

In our family, we buy our own Xmas gifts and we reimburse each other for the costs, lol. So my MIL “bought” me the Pat McGrath astral quad with the burgundy.

That is freaking beautiful.
It sold out at stupid goddamned Sephora on day 1 of the sale and won’t be back because it’s LE. I bought it from Pat McGrath’s website.

Ulta had some special event and since I was the first person in store I got a coupon for $100 off $100! And I got a great swag bag that included an Anastasia Glow kit along with a bunch of samples (I think they were past birthday gifts)! The lady helping me said they had the event the day before too and people were camped out in chairs starting at 6am! So crazy.

I need a suggestion for a kind to sensitive dry-ish skin BHA. I seem to have developed blackheads in the past few months. Haven't had them since my teens. Ugh.

Paula's Choice? I use the 2% BHA lotion, but there's also a 1% BHA lotion that's meant for sensitive skin. I also use their BHA 9 spot treatment for any really stubborn blemishes (I get the sample/travel size because I used it so rarely).

I liked the CosRx blackhead BHA liquid. I think it worked best if I used it right before a mud mask type product. That combination really cleared out my pores. Also the Sephora brand purifying mud mask is so good at clearing blackheads. It might be too much for sensitive skin but it looked like I used one of those pore strips after using.

I can't speak to actual blackheads, but the sebaceous filaments on my nose are hopeless. The only thing that works for maybe 36 hours is PC Resist BHA liquid followed by Jeju mask on my nose, and then rubbed off with oil cleanser after the mask dries. They're right back 2 days later, though.
So basically, blackheads are better to have than sebaceous filaments. I personally did not like the CosRx BHA at all but like the PC Resist one. It's considered "thin" which should help it penetrate?
