In treatment news I have a monitoring appointment on Wednesday for my fet. Also the estrogen pill I am on is driving me nuts. I feel like it makes any feeling magnified happy,. Super happy which is great but then mad super mad or broody and sad turns into depressed. Ugh.
Today h is home we are going out to lunch at his favorite place cause veterans day.
Its supposed to be in the mid 60's today, I'm so happy. But tomorrow is when it drops to like the 20's, it's no wonder everyone around here is sick.
In IVF news it's a cluster. Last week my monitoring place messed up measurements, blood etc. I talked with my clinic on Friday and my lining went from a 9.9 down to a 4 and my estrogen dropped from 329 down to 71, I also lost a large follicle. They said with the lining and estrogen drop they're surprised I didn't have a period. The nurse even asked me multiple times if I'm sure I wasn't bleeding. Since I normally don't get a thin lining they're trying to save the cycle so they threw me back on letrozole and I go Friday for Monitoring. If it's good I'll trigger that night and continue with the FET meds (PIO, estrace etc) and then FET is scheduled for next Wednesday. This is the first FET where I'm doing a medicated cycle but added in letrozole and ovidrell.
EDIT: I go tomorrow for my first intralipids infusion. The woman said normally they're done over the course of 60 min but my clinic said specifically 30. All she said is to bring tylonel since it's the first one I've ever done and that's the common side effect.
I had my lupron shot in Thursday. All Is well in terms of side effects. My hip was a little sore, but I think that’s from working out and not from the injection. I’m taking a very small dose of progesterone to ease side effects. I did ovulate the other day so I’m guessing I’m still going to get my period this month. Who knows.
Ughh, megstoo I’m so sorry, what a shit show! I hope everything works out.

Snowing here today. Made my 20 minute commute into an hour. Grr. Hoping it’s better for the way home.
I got my period yesterday. I go back next week for ultrasound and labs. Frustrated but admit I also a bit relieved that I’m not yet in the pregnancy after loss mode.
I hope joenali it’s better with the meds this month!
megstoo so frustrating. I hope It can get sorted out so you can move ahead without waiting forever.

I am so incredibly frustrated for you. I hope it all works out keeping my fingers crossed
It is not snowing here, but it is snowing where my parents and in-laws live. I’m a little jealous. I always really miss the anticipation of a big snow! I like the snow for a couple of days, but overall I dislike the harsh winters of the Midwest.
I’m in the TWW. My RE wants me to schedule a blood test for the 18th. I’ve never had that done though. Usually I just call once I’m on CD1. I’m unsure why they want me to come in this time. I tested out my trigger and will probably test again on Friday, which is 11dpiui maybe a little early to test but H is leaving for a work trip so if it happened to be positive it’d be nice for him to know before he left. I’m feeling pretty PMSy though so I really don’t know. If this cycle is a bust, we’ll be taking a break until January or February due to the holidays and upcoming travel.

I loved doing my intralipids infusion. It was 60 minutes of me time. I would sit and read a book and never had any adverse side effects. I hope it went well

Intralipids went well. It took about 30-40 minutes and I did have a small headache but I felt more lightheaded about an hour after. I was concerned because they took my blood pressure every 5 minutes and we couldn't get it down. It was literally sky high (159/90). I check it at home and it's always normal. I also checked it right when I got back home from infusion and it was back down to normal. I guess for my first time doing this I'll try not to worry about it. My next intralipids is supposed to be next Tuesday provided I get the all clear for transfer on Wednesday. I took a book to read but I ended up socializing with the 3 others who were there since you basically sit in a circle and can see everyone. The woman who is administering them for me said her last 5 people all got pregnant so I'm hoping she's the lucky charm!!
I have a CT scan for an unrelated reason tomorrow. :/ Wish me luck.
I'm so frustrated trying to find out what I'm actually doing next cycle. I got my period about 2 days after my ERA from my progesterone drop, so I'm assuming I'll have another one at the beginning of December? In December I'm supposed to do some kind of prep cycle because we are going to pretend like I have silent endo and treat it. I'm not sure if it's lupron or what? I've been trying to get the nurses to figure it out for like 2 weeks.
I called today because I was expecting a call yesterday and didn't get one. It was, "Oh! I talked to your doctor. He wants for your egg retrieval to add in a drug called omnitrope."
"No, no, no. I'm not doing a retrieval. I'm doing a prep cycle and then a FET." "So an ERA?" "No, I did an ERA last month. This is for endo." "Oh, a receptiva test." "No, the Dr. told me the test is like $800 and it would just be easier to treat me like I had silent endo, so he wanted to do... something that I'm trying to figure out next month." "Oh, okay, he didn't mention that. I'll have to call him and find out." "Oh, and for the FET we're doing an immune protocol." "Oh, he didn't mention that either."
Come to find out he's out of the office interviewing residents today, so she will contact him tomorrow. I think she has it straight now, though. Grrr.
msmerymac that’s frustrating when you feel like nobody knows what’s going on. My RE has all really young girls working in the office (my RE sees all patients personally, these employees cover the desk, take blood work, make phone calls, etc) and I get the feeling it’s a first job for a couple of them. I hate when something so very important to me feels like it’s not important to them. The phone calls are the worst when I have to call with a question. They never seem to understand what I’m asking.
I’m on progesterone suppositories and they are hands down what I hate most about this whole process so far (aside from bfns). I’ve been super easily irritated this week, my boobs hurt so bad, and it’s messy. I’m guessing this is all from the progesterone and I’m over.it.
moonriver, ugh, the suppositories are horrible. Are they the crinone in the applicator or the ones that melt? They are each horrific!
Also, one reason things get lost is because, depsite having a medical file three inches thick, my records are in the main location, where I got to get monitored, and my Dr. works out of the downtown satellite office 80% of the time. So there are a lot of calls back and forth, I think, or they wait for him to have his office hours in the main location, which is Tuesday afternoon.
They figured everything out for me, but only after calling in all the stim meds to the pharmacy. I'm going on a specific type of birth control in December after I do baseline monitoring. So, good plan! Now I'm glad I know. That will also be nice because the lab is closed until 1/2, so if I get my period just before that, which I might, I would have to wait another month, but hopefully, they can put me on 5 weeks of BC. Then we're moving to the immune protocol.
I also got the results of my ERA and I'm pre-receptive by 12 hours, so they'll add more progesterone exposure to my protocol.
