I hate when people say "making memories." I know what they mean but memories are constantly being formed, not just when you are doing something for instagram.
And when our neighbors’ guests park in “my” spot in front of our house. It’s a public road, but I feel this irrational rage when I see a car there. (We only have a one-car garage.)
I have irrational rage about this. We do not park in front of our house. We only have one car and we park it in our driveway, which could reasonably hold 4 cars if 2 sets parked tandem. We also have a one car garage but we don’t park in it. Our next door neighbors have a similarly sized driveway and also have a garage (2 car) but they own 3-4 cars (for 2 adults) and instead of parking in their driveway or on the street in front of their own house, they ALWAYS park in front of our house. There are about 3 car lengths of space in front of theirs, and about the same in front of ours but they never park on “their own” part of the street.
It’s petty because it is a public road but it’s annoying that they have so much space and park right outside of my damn picture window where I have to look out at their car and tromp across my lawn to get to their front door and bust up my curb with their bad parking.
I would absolutely contemplate passive aggressively parking in their chosen curb space in front of my house until they broke the habit.

I’m so tempted but my wife is the driver and she refuses to be this petty. Our one Honda Fit could never take up enough space to truly deter them though, as it would still leave about 2 cars worth of space in front of our house. It is infuriating to me to see their giant empty driveway when their ugly car is parked right in front of my house. Spikes my blood pressure.
I really should have married someone pettier and more easily irked.

I cannot stop laughing at this. You're so right. Are you by chance in engineering or another science field?

We'd make a good pair. My husband refuses to be annoyed enough for me about stuff on a regular basis. He's all "blah blah blah what is the actual effect of this on your life blah blah." None, okay! But I still want to shank this guy I work with for saying "anywho" instead of, like, literally ANY other word that is real in the English language.
Our neighbors are very nice but their son parks facing the wrong direction in front of their house and it drives me batty. We live on a cul de sac and he actually has to go circle it in order to park the wrong way. WHY?
Our fence got “fixed” in the front when they put the new one in on the sides (hurricane damage). The gate is too wide for the opening so they offset the two sides an inch. It makes me so angry every day. No one sees this fence regularly except us because it is behind a row of trees—it just keeps the dog in—but it makes me frustrated. If I could fix the damn thing myself easily I would but I don’t know how to string chain link and if I mess it up further, my husband would remind me every single day.
I get way too emotionally invested in things that have nothing to do with me. Tonight I was at target and they were arresting a woman for shoplifting. I started crying because I felt so badly for her. She took children’s Tylenol. I went up to the officers and offered to pay for the Tylenol, and instead they started berating me and telling me to stop interfering with their investigation. They were literally manhandling her and treating her so terribly, over such a small thing. I definitely don’t condone shoplifting, but I can’t stop thinking about her.
This is making me want to cry. Like, I'm choked up right now.
When my mom calls, she says, “Hi Mel! This is your mom.” I know who you are!
Every VM my mother has ever left me!! She follows it with “call me.” It doesn’t matter if it’s something important or if she just wants to talk. Always the same message and always in the same tone of voice.

This country is such shit.
This got me too. Fuck those cops, she has a sick kid.
For instance, Disney people. I mean the hardcore Disney people who not only visit the parks on a very regular basis, but have Disney home decor, Disney clothing, multiple sets of mouse ears, Disney jewelry, Disney handbags. I shouldn't care because it doesn't affect me, but for the love of God, branch out in life.

Unpopular opinion - I can’t even read the Disney board without getting annoyed. And I’m on a T&C Beaches FB page bc were going next summer and it’s quickly annoying me too.
When my MIL signs get texts “Nana”. You are not my Nana, you are my MIL so if you insist on signing your texts (which you don’t need to do, I know you) at least sign them “Ann”
Keeping with the "house" theme, a family bought a really pretty house down the street from us. It has a big bay window in what I would guess is their dining room. They have three large framed paintings/prints just leaning against the windows. You can see the wire that they're meant to hang from. They've been leaning against the windows for maybe 2 years! YEARS! It's all I see when I drive past the house. I don't get it.
This is my parents. They’re over 2 years in their house, pictures still set on the floor. They’re retired. Alllllllll the time in the world.

Our old neighbor used to do this shit all the time. I posted about it often. Lol When we all first moved in, not only would he park in front of our house instead of his own or in his damn driveway or garage, he would park facing the wrong way.
We also didn’t have sidewalks on our side of the street so he would block our steps up to our front door.

I live on a side street and across the main road there is a small factory that was built after I moved here (pet peeve #1). Some of the workers do not want to park their car in their lot (I assume because of dirt) so they park in front of my house and walk over (pet peeve #2). I am the 2nd house on the side street, drives me crazy! My dad gets even more upset than me when he visits!
When I’m at the store and people start putting their stuff on the belt before I’m done unloading. Hello YOU CAN SEE MY FULL CART, DUMBASS. It’s super annoying to have to constantly shove their stuff to make room for mine.
Also, the rules things. It’s so bothersome when rules exist but they’re followed willy nilly. The kids soccer organization is run like this and it drive me insane. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things, but my kids have lost games bc of people randomly following/not following rules.
The cart thing- who does this? I have never seen this before, but I would be suuuuuupwr annoyed if anyone did!
It drives me crazy when someone parks in my favorite spot in my work garage
Yes! We have a tiny parking lot (like 7 stalls for 40 employees), so it’s first come first served. I arrive super early, as do 3 others. We always take the same stalls, even if someone isn’t there yet. The other day, everyone had shifted one stall over (presumably someone was parked for a short term in one stall and had left by the time I arrived), but, man, did it ever throw me!
My Uncle had a custom house built, so the appliances were all new and bought at the same time. Same brand, same line. The clocks on his microwave and range are different colors of green. They funny thing is that he never noticed it and now that I pointed it out it drives him crazy.
The people who live across the street from us have had an old TV on the sidewalk in front of their house for over two weeks now. They're obviously wanting to get rid of it, but garbage collection has happened twice now, and they are obviously not taking it, so do something else with it, people! Rain, snow...it has sat there. It also got knocked over in a windstorm and is half falling over onto the street and they just ignore it and let it sit there.

When we were house hunting we looked at a Disney house. Honest to God, there isn't as much Mickey stuff at Disneyland as there was in that house. Every. single. room. was Disney decor, even the laundry room.
I’ve posted before about my neighbor parking his work vehicle and equipment in front of my house instead of his own-but he also has a very loud truck that he lets warm up for a good 1/2 hr to 45 min all the time...including at 4 am. A neighbor across the street still had their Halloween decorations up until they put their Xmas decorations up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Her kids are also perpetually late or out of school and then she thinks it’s ridiculous the school reports her.
