1. Eat with my hunger cues rather than by the clock 2. Meditate every day 3. Finish a half with my BFF. No time goal, just have fun and run a steady race.
My desire to do anything but what is fun and keeps me feeling good broke 2 years ago and I’m fine with that.

Trying to ease back into some H&F posting...
1) Continue working on intuitive eating and body acceptance/self love 2) Recognize if/when I am getting caught up in FOMO and comparing myself to others, and do not let it guide my decisions or actions with respect to training or racing (or anything really, but this has been a big trigger for me in the H&F realm, and was why I had to take a step back from this board and deactivate my FB in 2019) 3) Continue to train and race, with with a goal of fitness and joy, rather than a finish line. 4) Continue working with H to establish healthy habits around working out, so we can both age well, and be strong and active on our future homestead 5) Eat more fresh fruits and veggies! 6) Enjoy working with the most awesome coach I have ever known. I can't believe I got so lucky to get in with him this year. I start on Monday and I'm positively giddy with excitement. 7) Be a source of support, encouragement, and positivity for all the amazing people on this board. You all have been a massive source of inspiration for me over the years, and I want to be a more useful member of the team this year, rather than just doing the occasional "look at me! look at me!" junk I was doing before (see goal #2...) 8) Focus on positive mental health
1) PR at the half marathon distance 2) Strength train twice weekly 3) Foam roll and stretch twice weekly 4) Less stuff, more experiences 5) Stop "saving" stuff. I'm awful about that. For example, I will get a nice bottle of wine and "save" it until there is a "nice" occasion. So silly. Enjoy the stuff. You can always get more.
I just began doing this over the past few months (well, with wine/bubbly at least) and it's the best. Life is a special occasion!

Seriously, though. You’d think as a recent cancer survivor, I’d know this. LOL. How soon we forget
Also, not sure what your training looks like for the year, but hit me up if you ever want to meet up sometime.
Run two half marathons (registered for both the other day) Lose 5-10 lbs, eat more plants and less junk Yoga/stretching and even a tiny bit of weightlifting, at least twice a week each Last year I hit over 500 miles run and 2000 miles on the gym bike (which helped me hit reading goals), that would be great to do again, but not at the expense of the earlier goals
Also: Bike more for transport Give blood at least 2-3 times
I haven't posted here in forever, but I'll play! 1) build back some base running mileage 2) train for and run my favorite 10 miler this spring 3) average at least 2 yoga classes per week 4) run a race that has a "kids dash" so DD can participate 5) hike somewhere new
I took a HUGE step back from running after DD was born (as in, I've barely run at all), and I am finally starting to get the "itch" again and have been really missing it lately. I started regularly going to hot yoga classes about 6 months ago out of a desire to do SOMETHING, and have really been enjoying them. I'm hoping that 2020 is the year that I am able to start feeling more myself again in terms of fitness.
Yay for new and old faces! I miss how active this board has been in the past. You guys have inspired me so much over the years to keep going and to try new things. I'm not sure I would have dived into triathlons if it hadn't been for this board.
My metatarsalgia is finally getting better. Besides a 3-4 mile hike once a week I have not exercised since July 2019 :-( ;-(
So now in 2020....
1) I would like to start running & biking again. 2) I will be more on campus since I am teaching more and decided I should take advantage of the weightroom twice a week. 3) start another ab challenge 4) eat a little bit less and a little healthier => lose some weight

I miss how active the board was as well! There was always so much encouragement, and it was always so inspiring to read everyone else’s goals and accomplishments, whether THEY thought it was an accomplishment or not. ☺️
One of my goals is to post here more rather than just lurk on other boards in 2020.
