We will be at HS Jan 12.

I have a FP for toy story mania at 9:45.

Park opens at 8.

If we got there at opening think we could get on Slinky Dog or am I dreaming?

How much before 8 should we get there?

HS is notorious for opening earlier than posted park opening. I think if you head straight I slinky you will be good. We did just that and walked straight on even though it said it was already a 30 min wait. Everyone is running to smugglers run at park opening.

Are you trying to get a ROTR boarding group?

If you don’t care about that you have a better chance to be ahead of many others.

I would keep an eye out on park hours just to make sure they don’t change park opening.

DS is 4 and I'm not into Star Wars so probably not, I dont think it's worth it on this trip. I'm way more interested in toy story land

We went for Star Wars stuff Dec 23 and arrived about an hour before posted opening time. Park opened gates half hour earlier than posted time (posted was 7, opened gates at 6:30). Because of the crowd, even though we were standing in line at 6, it took us until 7:05 to get in the gate.

Majority of it seemed to be to get boarding groups for ROTR.
