Young kids & DL

My mom and I are visiting family in CA in Oct. we plan to do 3 days of DL.

Kids ages are 10, 8, 5 and 3.

It will just be my mom and myself. My 3 yo DS is not one that likes to stand still...and is insanely active.

My oldest really likes the big rides and I’m the only one that will go on them with him. My mom is terrified!

My 5 year old is a really, really good listener and should be tall enough to do most of the rides she could go on.

My family we are visiting will take my 3 yo while we go. I’m thinking it’s best to keep him back cause...he’s not going to remember or really enjoy it right??

I would bring him for one of the days. My one- and four-year-olds loved it, and while they may not remember, I will remember the fun we had together!

I would also bring him for one day. We did WDW for 3 days just before my twins turned 3, and it was so magical. No, they don’t really remember it. And yes, the trip could revolve around them because we don’t have older kids. We didn’t ride every ride by any means, but they were just so excited about everything and I have such good memories of it.

Bring him and spend some time on Tom Sawyer Island in Disneyland and Redwood Creek challenge trail in DCA to burn off his energy.

I would take him to DCA - Carsland and the amazing Redwood Creek area!
