Has anyone been here? Do you have to be a DVC member or will I have access if I bought points?

We leave Saturday, so excited!

I have, but unfortunately you won't be able to if you rented points . You need to have a DVC member with you.

Sorry! For what it's worth, I actually prefer the view of the fireworks from the walkway on the 4th floor between the Contemporary and BLT. Have a great trip!

We rented points and were allowed up there. I wasn't expecting to be able to but when we checked in, the CM said that if it's not overly crowded they will often let those staying on points up as well. I thought it was worth a try and they didn't even bat an eye - just scanned my band and directed us to the elevator.

So worth a shot!
