Dorothy Patricia came fast and furiously today. Contractions started at 5amish and by my 8am doctors Appointment I was already 5cm dilated. We headed to the hospital and was already at 7cm and I got the epidural. It only took two hours after the epidural and I was fully dilated and ready to push! I didn’t push for long - 15 minutes? And she was out. Since she was a surprise, we were eagerly awaiting who it was in there.

No tears except for a small internal one and the whole thing went a lot more smoothly (and quickly) than I ever expected.

Born at 2:22 at 5 pounds and 6 ounces and 18.5 inches long. ❤️❤️Here she is!
