I recommend you look up your state’s requirements for a delegation of parental authority. We filled one out and had my friend notarize it for us. I’m glad because they had to take her to urgent care.

Agree with this. My ILs have a medical release for E1. We need to get one done for E2.

We left them overnight for the first time when they were 3.5 and 21 months. DD didn't STTN reliably until a few months before DS was born, and I didn't want to leave her with anyone when she didn't reliably STTN. That first (and only so far) kid free vacation was amazing! We were gone four nights.
