It doesn't have to be TV related, mine just happen to be. I'm enjoying a super cheesy show called H20 Just Add Water. It's about mermaids in Australia, and I am mostly here for the weather. Also, we watched Picard for the first time last night, and we liked it.
I’m enjoying relative peace with my kids. After a horrible week with DD1, her nice switch flipped at 1pm on Sunday and has been engaged ever since. She’s been an absolute pleasure. That’s one.
I’ve been reading garbage novels for fun a lot more recently. I love that I’m enjoying reading again. I wish I could read something deeper but there’s not enough time to really dig in as I read in 5-10 minute increments. I just finished 11/22/63, and read The Outsider before that.
Along those lines, DH and I are now watching The Outsider. I enjoy finding the differences from the book to the series. Some are improvements, some not.
We’re planning our summer vacation and things to do this summer. It’s been really fun to think about doing things with a well-behaved DD1 and not the nightmare out-of-control DD1.
Finally, I’ve really enjoyed The Good Place, and I’m enjoying watching it wrap up.
I binge watched the entire first season of Younger yesterday. I don't really watch TV, so that was something.
Non-TV related, I'm 90% enjoying our subscription to Every Plate. It's taken out all of the "what do I make for dinner" schenanigans that we tend to go through (and usually ends in nuggets, corndogs, or mac n cheese). The 10% I don't like is that my kids "hate it" (aka won't even try it) and don't eat dinner at least 3 nights a week. But that's their own fault.

Reality TV- I got into 90 Day Fiancé over Christmas break and the similar show Before the 90 Days
Books- I like easy to read chit lit. I recently finished Say You Still Love Me and I am almost finished with One True Loves.
DD and I have been playing Tamagotchi On together as a bonding activity. I am in a FB group that talks about breeding your Tamagotchi for certain genes etc. which is pretty funny. Definitely a guilty pleasure and not one that I take that seriously.

I have always loved making playlists and I'm making one right now for my snowmobile trip with beau. I'm using Alexa to make my playlist for the first time and love how easy it is.
I started reading the Game of Thrones series at Christmas and am really enjoying it so far. It's not a light read by any means and will take me forever to finish, but the level of detail and description in it is warming my English major heart. I keep trying to find ways to sneak in reading more and have considered throwing the book in my purse so I have it with me, but it's a brick.
Watching DD learn to play the guitar. She was frustrated by it last weekend, but she’s really getting into music right now. It’s funny to see what she gravitates to.
I’ve been reading a lot on Amazon Unlimited. Lots of cheesy romances.
Lost Girl on Netflix. It’s silly but fun. I also started watching Quantico. I’m a little undecided on how long I’ll stick with it, but so far it’s pretty cool.
Making quilts. I’ve made two and I’m on my third. That’s my happy place.
DD1 has been really into her music lately. Yesterday she had to play her piano piece for the talent show STANDING ON ONE FOOT. There was no bench and the piano was elevated on a small rack on casters. So she stood to play with one foot in the air to work the pedals.
Totally suitable for work - it’s a Hyundai Ad will air during the super bowl. Accents are bad but the actual words are spot on and I’ve been laughing for 2 days.
mommyatty, I have fallen off the quilting wagon and need to get back on. I made one for beau for Christmas and really enjoyed it. I have a beautiful stack of fabric ready to go for a dedicated new pattern, but just haven't been motivated to start it.

A healthy family. We have been healthy all winter so far, and I'm praying it stays that way. Also sleeping in on Saturdays due to no regularly-scheduled Saturday sports.
Update: And of course, DS woke up this morning (one day after posting this) with a stomach ache and fever. So apparently I should've kept my mouth shut.
I am enjoying an off season. DD is not in a sport right now (although I am worried she is not going to play volleyball in the spring, and I want her to do something) and DS is in all kinds of things before and after school, but he can drive himself. Yay.
I am also enjoying books on tape. I listen to them in my car or running. I find I like to listen to totally different books than I read.
Hart of Dixie on Netflix. It’s so cheesy and good and I love it!
Having an upstairs book and a downstairs book. Before I would be reading one book at a time and usually left it on my nightstand since I mostly read at bedtime, but now I’m reading one book at bed (currently the third game of thrones book) and one downstairs (non-fiction currently a book about the zoos in Germany during and after WWII). This way I’m less inclined to flip mindlessly the through my phone because I don’t want to bring my book downstairs.
Hoopla- I’m late to the party, but I’m listening to audio books in the car. Right now I’m listening to The Throwaway Children and it’s so good! Also, just finished a Greek myth book with the little kids. Obsessed now.
I've been watching a Series of Unfortunate Events and have 2 more episodes left. I can't wait until Saturday night to watch them. By the time I settle down at night I'm in no mood to do anything but go to bed.
I'm looking forward to next week when DD won't be doing gymnastics 7 days a week. So this is the last week of crazy gym schedule. I'm putting my foot down as DD is melting down every night due to tiredness and complaining every morning her body aches. She has made a ton of progress this month and I'm pretty sure she has secured her spot on the team but still has skills to conquer.
mrsGreeko , I just listened to "Where the Crawdads Sing" and it was on of the best books I have had in a long while.
I’ll listen to that next because I’m almost done with this one and was wondering if I’d be able to find another book I enjoyed listening to as much!
The good thing about Hoopla is if it is there, you won't have to wait. I didn't find it on there, but that was months back so it may have changed. I found it on Overdrive the library app, but had to wait for it.
twinmomma, I'm in awe of you reading GOT as a physical book. I know you said it's not light reading in reference to content, but it's not light reading literally in regards to the weight of the book. And those books are so thick its hard to keep them open one handed.
I never thought I would, but I converted to kindle books years ago and have never looked back. Plus being able to read on a tablet, phone, wherever, whenever, is great. I'm never without a book if I want one. I've gotten a couple ARC books in exchange for online reviews that were physical books and.. they sit on the shelf. Unreviewed.
I continue my love/hate relationship with Outlander. I'm in book 5 and getting the meh's about it.

k3am, I'm in book 5 of Outlander too. I'm kind of meh about it as well. So much detail, and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere fast, and I'm a little over a third of the way through it.
k3am, Beau bought me the complete box set for Christmas. So I'm kind of obligated to read it as physical books now. I have a Kindle, but I still kind of love real books more, so it's not bothering me too much yet.
covergirl82, we're in the same spot basically. I felt the same way in book 2 and struggled to get through, and then book 3-4 flew by. I think when she tries to weave the story into an era that needs to coexist with real life timelines and history that everything just gets bogged down.
twinmomma, at least with a paperbook you can sticky note and highlight and try to keep track of all 73,847 plot lines and characters if you were so inclined? (I am not)
