I’m not surprised at all. A lot of people I know don’t care if a ham sandwich is the nominee, so there’s no way they’re moving mountains and overcoming various obstacles to spend hours on a Monday night to have a say.
I think this is what is happening in CO and the primary for CFG's challenger. We're all, "Anyone but CFG."
I’m not surprised. It’s not a great mindset, but it’s also understandable. I’m also used to my primary vote being irrelevant, so near me this is common (we don’t have our primary until June, so it’s generally useless for Presidential candidates).
I can vote locally in person in Dems Abroad Mar 3. I can register up to the day before. I'm guessing all Dems Abroad are grouped together as a bloc? Does it have any measurable impact? This is my first dem abroad as previously I was a mil spouse and OR automatically sent us our ballots. Warren is definitely my choice.
Dems Abroad get 13 pledged delegates (2 less than Alaska). I believe the delegates are apportioned according to the results. DA likes to point out that depending on what state you’d be voting in otherwise, your vote can potentially have more impact based on the voters/delegate ratios.
Personally, I vote in the DA primary, because I appreciate having representation, given that there are issues that specifically affect our population (e.g. FATCA). I wish we had Congressional representation (since all of our reps care more about their local constituents), but for now I’ll take what I can get.

And you get to vote in the general based on your state of last residence? Or does it depend on whether you have citizenship in another country/voting rights there as well?
I am voting with dems abroad since I'm living in Canada. I last lived in Michigan and my ballots and such have to be received by mail I can't just email it so...its in the mail due by March 10th, and to the post question definetly not blue no matter who.
