This surprises me not at all. NH people are quite a unique demographic among New Englanders and they were never going to go for Warren. I'm not worrying for her until we see what happens on Super Tuesday.

Now I’m curious about NH people. What’s the story?

I know NE has its pockets of conservatism but NH was pretty much the only red NE state in most of my life. They seem to have an independent streak. Not too long ago they made history having an all-female governor, US Representatives and Senators, I believe. They don’t seem to like seat belts.
And that is my knowledge of NH in a nutshell. I’ve been there once though.
Ugh, the place where I canvassed for Warren, she's not even in the top four.
Here in Maine, we have a joke, "Why doesn't Maine float off into the ocean?" Answer: "Because New Hampshire sucks so hard." (only pronounce it haahhd, lol)
They're the only state in New England without income tax or sales tax. Consequentially, my parents always stopped there to buy liquor on the way from Mass to Maine. But without income tax, property taxes are super high, and school districts are highly unequal. It's the most libertarian state, "live free or die" and all that.
He’s obviously not a viable candidate but yeah. This is super weird timing. It’s not like he thought he’d do amazingly in NH or something.
If anything I expected him to quit after the majority of returns came in, not like right this minute when there’s 10% reporting or something like that.

Also, I am paying the Yang Gang no mind in terms of who I think they’ll support now because I always sensed most of them just wouldn’t vote for POTUS unless Yang was the nom. His supporters are...something.

Klobuchar edged out Buttigieg in Concord for second place. Impressive.
I like Klobuchar’s surge because I do like her, but no matter how she does I think she had to devote so many resources to IA and NH that I’m not sure there will be time for her to build much momentum in time for NV and SC. We talk about Buttigieg’s lack of POC support but Klobuchar is no better.

NH native LOLing over that joke.
Can confirm re: school districts and property taxes.

Don’t you think a poor performance tonight will influence the media narrative leading to Super Tuesday? I mean, she did better than expected in IA but was still written off by the media after that.

I will preface this by saying I have many friends that live in NH and it is a beautiful state with a lot to offer. Buttt they like their guns, NASCAR, and motorcycle rallies. This is in very stark contrast to the rest of NE.
Dang MSNBC calling that Biden and Warren will not receive any delegates tonight. I think a 3-way delegate split winds up giving Bernie more delegates than the 2nd place finisher (I thought they would get the same based on a 4-way split).

Klobuchar, Buttigieg and Biden need to figure something out because they are splitting the moderate vote. It’s good for Bloomberg and Bernie.

You get an extra like from H for this comment! It’s what we have been talking about sitting in front of MSNBC, & I was stoked I had a GBCN-er agree! I just hope & pray that their egos shrink enough to let them accept this...

Yup. Whatever each of their shortcomings, how about we just pick the damn woman for once?

Good question. This is where I'm a little out of my depth CE&P wise and why I usually lurk instead lol. I do see that narrative already on FB (lots of "Warren is dead in the water!" from Bernie Bros.), but I refuse to believe states like IA and NH will shape the entire narrative. We have a long way to go.
I agree the mods need to figure it out, but Biden isn’t going anywhere until NV and SC, at least. And after NH there’s no reason Pete or Klobuchar will drop out. I think Warren’s team is confident, but they must be reviewing their strategies at the moment.
