DS will be 2 in March. He’s consistently peeing through size 6 Huggies overnights. It’s absolutely exploding when he wakes up. Is there a better brand for heavy wetters? Should I move to pull ups? I looked into sposie pads but should I get size 4-6 or the toddler sizes?
Are you still doing milk at night? If so, I would do it earlier in the day (at home we will do a bottle after nap). Now we just give them a tiny cup of milk before bed - we actually use the little cups that come with Tylenol.
I remember we tried all of these things with DS2 and he would still leak, especially if the Sposie was placed not in the perfect place. I changed his diaper when I went to bed around 11pm - he slept right through the change. That worked the best.
Another thing you can try is a wool cover over the disposable. Wool covers seem intimidating at first but I think it's quite easy. Wool is really good about catching leaks, and it only needs to be washed like 1x a month. I use it on E2 nightly.
Sposies were a laundry saver for us! You could try sizing up to a 7 diaper. Or you could just switch to goodnites. We sized DS up to goodnites and a sposie.
Whatever you do, don't be me and put your DS in regular pull ups for night time sleeping. All I got was a peed on bed to wash daily.

Gah, Ive posted this question a million times, I think! Diapers or goodnites will hold more, not pull-ups. I used to double-diaper . Also, Huggies were the worst diapers for us, they leaked in the day. But if you generally like Huggies, I don’t think the diaper itself is the issue. These kiddos just pee a lot a night!
eta: This helped so much. I was just washing this and not all the sheets every day and having to make the bed.
Thank you! I absolutely had pull ups in my cart so I switched those out for good nights and ordered some sposie pads. He’s almost 2 and about 40lbs. Currently in 2t but I’m getting 3t for spring clothes. Would that be a smalL or extra small good night? Should I do a regular sposie size 4-6 or the 2t-3t size?
