I just made my first ever campaign contribution. To Warren, who I've been backing from the beginning. She'll be in Seattle this weekend and my ailing mother desperately wants to go, but I don't think she can handle the walking and standing around. I promised to find a live stream she can watch.
We're an all-mail county, and ballots are being mailed out next week. Our primary (we got rid of our caucuses, thank gawd) is March 10, so I hope Super Tuesday doesn't wipe out all of our choices.
SO THANKFUL that we're doing primaries. In 2016 the caucuses were a mess, and it's continued to the present with "Bernie" versus "Hillary" still a thing. If they'd done primaries in 2016 then Hillary would have had 53% of the delegates and Bernie 47%. But that doesn't matter because only the caucus counts, of course (if you're a Bernie supporter anyway.) They're doing primaries for delegate count but if you want to *be* a delegate, your legislative district will be holding caucuses on (most likely) April 26. Being a delegate sounds like an expensive mess from what I've been hearing. My LD is appallingly honest about it. "There aren't enough hotels in Milwaukee so the hotel where we're (WA delegates) staying is about two hours away. Commute by bus each morning, breakfast is required at $65/per person. The weekend should run about $5K. It's a great opportunity to meet other folks from around the country so..." (Thankfully there is fundraising and support for delegates, so it won't all be out-of-pocket.)

I looked at the event and it says it’s ADA-compliant. Maybe email them to see what your options are?
Definitely reach out. I’ve heard the Warren campaign is very responsive on disability issues.
When I went to the FHTK event in 2016, we had to wait in line to get in and then the event was standing. But they did have a handful of chairs and had volunteers or staff walking the line to look for anybody who needed assistance. I definitely saw an older woman get escorted to the front of the line and taken to a chair.

I just hope that we see at least 4 candidates drop out after super Tuesday. Take it from me - the period of time after your top choice(s) drop out is bleak and you can't envision yourself liking any of the others. It passes, so let's just get this over with.
My picks to drop: Steyer, Gabbard, Buttigieg, Klobuchar. Bloomberg would be a bonus, but he won't have problems funding so I don't really see that happening.
I feel like she’s entered a give no fucks phase of her campaign and I am here for it.

She also talked about how she liked and respects the ideas of others who aren't in it any more, and wrapped in Harris' plan to address maternal mortality rates to her platform, and that *she called to ask her first.* Also mentioned Gillebrand as someone with amazing ideas and of course Castro.
Makes me wonder if she's thinking of them as running mates (Castro was probably already speculated, but that was the first time I heard her mention, by name, other former candidates like this).

I am so curious to see when Gabbard decides to stop running as a D and start running as a Jill Stein. We all know it’s happening.
