I haven’t been in touch with all this as much as I should. But I feel really despondent that this is the best America can offer. I don’t love love love warren, but to me she has the most gravitas, job experience and a solid Workable plan. And here we are.
This is pretty darn left-leaning, which is why I found it on my local Bernie-centric legislative district page. That this could happen would not shock me in the least.
(I'm posting the entire article because... If you want to click for them to get the clicks, feel free but it's just this short blurb from a very non-neutral source.)
Conservative activist Chuck Muth said that he temporarily switched parties to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in the Nevada caucuses. Muth, who spoke to the Las Vegas Journal-Review while wearing a red Keep America Great hat, explained that he had crossed over to “vote for the weakest candidate possible of the Democrats.”
“It was kind of a way of demonstrating how absurd I think it is to have same-day registration as well as early voting for a caucus,” Muth explained. “So my wife and I last Sunday went to an early voting site, we changed parties right there on the spot. We caucused for Bernie.” “It would be a dream election,” he added. “The nightmare would be if Sanders won, of course. But, look, if Bernie Sanders can beat Donald Trump, we’ve already lost it.”
Here's a more neutral (and detailed) source I found using The Google (or The Bing, I think.) Since it's an actual journal, I'm doing it right and providing only the link:

I feel like this happens every election cycle on both sides, and there really isn’t a good measure of how many people do it or what the real impact is. In 2016, there were reports of Dems primarying first Trump for the same reason and look how that turned out.
