I am wearing new hair today, and I lost my voice over the weekend, so I basically look and sound like a different person. And, its maybe weird, but I actually like how my voice sounds right now...if I could have this voice, without the cracking or unpredictable breathy changes, I'd keep it.
leviosa, I'm sorry for saying this if there's some backstory, but WTF is wrong with your XH? JFC. Dude, take YOUR SON to the damn doctor. Medical neglect? GTFO with that bullshit.
The backstory has been that he’s an asshole.
He ended up taking him into urgent care the next morning. But he was a complete asshole about it.
I tried to ask him how me not coming to get him was any different than him not taking him. But he hung up on me.

Girl, I'm sorry you're dealing with this nonsense. I hope your son feels better soon.
Possible unpopular opinion: I really hate my ThirdLove bras. The straps always slide off and I am constantly pulling them back up. The bra otherwise fits well and it doesn't matter how tight or loose the straps are. Once I get into clothes shopping for my new job, I am definitely getting new bras. I'm very excited about getting rid of these.
I just got new bras and I'm really liking the Wacoal ones I got. I was replacing some LeMystere bras that squeaked when I moved and the straps slipped. So far, I have not had to adjust any straps. I got the Awareness underwire bra. It's good for winter because I'm wearing sweaters and scarves, but I'll want something with a little more lining for spring.
Wacoal is my favorite. I can make them work at least three years, I’m really big chested and I only have a few bras
Last week was a shitshow. The head of our dept at work abruptly "resigned" and left everyone in a frenzy. This leadership change led to the decision to hire consultants to look at the division of work and make sure we are "staffed appropriately." Our interim dept. head told us it is to look for places to hire more people and not to worry...but it's the reason I was laid off from my last job so I'm a bit nervous.
On top of that: one of the pipes in our kitchen burst and we didn't notice until the next day when we found our basement floor flooded. We had to bring in a clean up crew and in order to get all of the water out they tore up half of our kitchen floor and ripped out half of our cabinets/countertops. The water was in the living room too so that carpet needs to come out. We already spoke with our insurance company but UGH, what a disaster. They will cover it all, but we now have no kitchen. On the bright side: We are getting a completely new kitchen and living room now, so I guess that's good. I just hate the disruption in my already hectic routine.
That’s a lot! House stress really gets to me, especially plumbing and we’ve had our share too. So glad you are looking forward to the new stuff and that it’s covered.
Our dog has an autoimmune disease and she’s sick and on steroids so I should be more patient, I was nice to her when I came home from a long training but she had an accident all over our living room carpet. And then at the same time, my mom with Parkinson’s is calling me complaining I didn’t come see her at the nursing home today. And then my teenage kids are just wondering what’s for dinner and my husband is grumpy after a long commute. I’m 45 and smack dab in the sandwich generation

I'm so sick of being the competent one with the kids. DS2 wet the bed last night. I started dinner as soon as the kids and I got home. DH started laundry when he got home a few minutes later (but not the sheets). I asked DS2 and DH to do the sheets next. They only washed the sheets and not the mattress cover and extra pee pad, which were obviously in need of washing. Dudes, come on! So I just threw it in on a quick wash and it needs to be dry in 45 minutes.
