Guys this might be a place Liz doesn't have a plan. Like she's just ignoring huge swaths of what needs to be done. If you're serious about equity and climate change we need a shitton more than just electric vehicle charging! She starts talking about the need for more public transportation in her plan, and then says "that's why I'm proposing a new grant program to electrify..." all the things. But that doesn't create more access or improve the network so WTF?!
Pete seems to be reading directly from my brain here though.
I don't vote till April so I haven't been totally on top of this, but now I know why my transpo nerd Twitter was SO SAD a few weeks ago.
FWIW, a lot of them don't have a solid climate change plan. In part, because when we do buckle down and get serious, there are going to be a whooooole lot of industries that are going to be gutted. No one is going to talk about that while on the campaign trail.
The first President that actually does something about climate change is going to be universally hated. They are only going to last one term. That is my prediction.

(Sorry, a tweet) It’s a legit commercial urging #45 supporters to vote for BSanders in the SC primary 😐 I feel like this was, perhaps, mentioned in the Sanders thread, but seeing an ad actively running on FB made things a lot more real. Bill Kristol: A Trump-Sanders smoking gun. South Carolina Trump activists in a much-promoted Facebook video: "We're asking South Carolina Republicans to show their support for President Trump by crossing over and voting in the Democratic primary for Senator Bernie Sanders."

The Republicans are texting me again. I have no idea how I got on Republican text lists. I have never once in my life been a registered Republican, and I'm currently a registered Democrat.

They probably have the voter registration list. It’s considered public information, so not much you can do but ask them to take you off their list.

This guy cannot win the primary - I've received these between Saturday and Tuesday, plus phone calls and text messages (currently engaged in a convo with one of their campaign text people about why I won't vote for Bloomberg).

I always just tell myself that it’s evidence of how poorly their campaigns are being run that their targeting is this shit. They’re wasting a lot of resources reaching out to voters they can’t get!

Random thoughts from a Super Tuesday state (but early voting is open here!)
-I filled out my ballot and there were TWENTY names on it (some of whom I was like, who the fuck are YOU?)
-I’ve seen countless TV ads for Steyer and Bloomberg, a handful from Bernie, and none at all from Warren. Is she writing off Northern California? (Or maybe just KRON4 news at 10??)
-Speaking of targeted campaigning, I have to admit Bloomberg’s has been slick. I got campaign mail from him that was all about women’s health and DH got one about environmental issues. That matches up with our respective donation patterns.

I’m in SoCal and same with the TV ads. I have only seen Bloomberg, Bernie, and Steyer. I would guess the other candidates can’t afford too many commercials around here?
And we received 4 Bloomberg ads in the mail in the last week, all with different topics. None from any other presidential candidates, just local races. I have had 1 door canvass from Bernie supports. H and I are volunteering for the Pete campaign and everything we have done has been grassroots with other volunteers. We are trying to knock on doors but its so hard to get the his name out with a small group of people. They just don't have the money to pour into CA.

Could be a coincidence with the Bloomberg mailers — I’ll concede that. For someone who claims to love the environment so much, he sure sends a lot of mail. 🤷♀️
H got his first text from the Bloomberg campaign and I got my 11000th from Bernie. (We have out of state area codes if that matters.)

Sorry. I wasn't implying yours wasn't targeted ads. It could very well be if he has good analytics. I was just a little saddened by the fact that he is sending us multiples per week and the other candidates don't seem to have the money to keep up. I hate that he is literally buying voters this way. I feel like if I wasn't putting in the effort to see the other candidate on my own, I would think he was the only one in the race.
Bloomberg has been putting out amazing mail. We got a color quad fold the other day that was a thing of beauty.
This type of mail is just sickeningly expensive. Most other candidates, even the well-resourced ones, can’t afford to send mailers like this outside of maybe swing states. It makes me kind of sick that he’s propping himself up like this.
I am in NC and got 3 Bloomberg mailers yesterday! I have recevied several others in the past week as well. I am seeing some Klobuchar commericals in the last few days ( already had Bloomberg/Steyer). We are near the SC border and a fair part of our TV market is the upstate of SC.

I’m in Charleston, SC and every other ad is a D political candidate, seemingly with equal air time. Even Bloomberg, who isn’t on the primary ticket here. The few ads that aren’t from Ds are paid for by pharmaceutical lobbyists touting the horrors of universal healthcare. 🙄 I also just discovered a disgusting group of people running a campaign called “operation chaos”. It’s MAGATS campaigning to get SC Rs to vote for Bernie in our open primary. God help us.

Oh yeah I know. I was just so excited to see a quad fold! My husband remembered when the mail house first created it and it was such a big deal! lol.

We have probably gotten 10 pieces of mail from Bloomberg in the last few days. Both my H and I each get one and often two different flyers in one day!
Also, on the trash site that is next-door, someone posted about ALL people being able to vote in the primary (VA) and that you should seriously consider voting for Sanders. Not sure if she's R and trying to f*ck things up or an I/D but a loooooot of people were saying "what a great idea" which scares me.

My state votes on Tuesday, and I've only seen Bloomberg ads. And they've been EVERYWHERE. I swear, every other radio and TV commercial is a Bloomberg ad.
I've been getting approx 1 Bloomberg mailer a day. Yesterday there were 3. I watched my first Mayor Pete commercial this morning. It feels a little late to be putting that money in the CO market. I think most people I know that were going to vote have already voted.

We got that, too, and I commented on how good it was. Bloomberg is also the only candidate addressing things to both my husband and me (different last names so it seems like most campaigns and non-profits, etc. don’t get it right.)
I will never in a million years vote for him, tho.

I’m in a swing state who votes on Super Tuesday. The only ads I have seen on tv are Bloomberg’s and there are A LOT of them. I actually said to DH last night it is I thought it was weird we haven’t gotten any mailers and aren’t seeing more commercials for other candidates. Normally I feel like we are bombarded by ads. Most people here (at least in social media) seem to be Bernie supporters. 👎🏻
I am assuming we will start seeing more mailers and commercials in the next few weeks.
I’m really scared about Bloomberg and what precedence this sets. I think avoiding tax raises under Sanders and Warren isn’t his only motivating factor. Trump has showed how someone can profit personally as president and I think Bloomberg will do that but in a much smarter way. And the wealth gap is just going to get far worse with billionaires knowing they can buy the presidency. I’m disgusted that the DNC got him onto the debate stage.

100%. There has been absolutely no discussion of the emoluments clause at it relates to Bloomberg. He hasn't mentioned giving up his business a la Jimmy Carter if elected. He runs a media company, for godsake! Imagine if Trump actually OWNED Fox News.
ETA: NEVERMIND. This isn't true. But still, fuck Bloomberg.
