History, art people- any idea who this might be?

My friend is helping clean out her grandmother's home after she passed. She was a really neat lady who lived in Europe and collected some interesting art. My friend sent me this picture and wondered if I knew who she was? I have a good guess but I'm not certain and I'm curious if anyone else has an idea. She may not even be anyone significant.

I don't know who it was but to me it looks like a grave rubbing. My ILs have several temple rubbings that look similar.

You're close, it looks similar to a portrait of Catherine Parr I've seen. (That's Henry VIII's last wife, in case anyone is wondering).

Is she able to carefully take it out of the frame to see if there is a label or anything written on the back?

My guess was Catherine of Aragon but you may be right mcsangel2 !
