I read The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell, which I didn’t really like but I think it was just not my style of book. Now reading another of my middle grade Keeper of the Lost Cities series. I finally finished my audiobook, Brian Jay Jones’s Jim Henson biography. I really liked the narrator and found the end of the book surprisingly moving. I’m now listening to American Gods. It has a different actor for every character, which is pretty cool.
I struggled through The Good People by Hannah Kent for over a week and only made it about 1/3 of the way through. It's well written but just more depressing than I am in the mood for.
QOTW: Monk. They make beer and cheese so I could be happy!

I'm reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, and I love it so much! I want to crawl into Morgenstern's worlds and live there. I loved The Night Circus for the same reasons.
QOTW: That's a tough call. I like my privacy but I also like attention. It would be hard to pick. I guess paparazi because I'd still be able to live my life and have DH and my cats.
I finished The End of Ice - Bearing Witness and Finding Meaning in the Path of Climate Disruption by Dahr Jamail. He visited several places worldwide where effects are visibly underway, including two places I visited when I studied biodiversity in college. This one made me really sad. 😢
QOTW: I’d need to be with my family, so that probably precludes me from being a monk? Though I would really not want a paparazzi lifestyle.

I finished The Bookish Life of Nina Hill. Still reading She Said (only have about an hour and a half left on audio so I'll finish today) and Rich People Problems
I also started Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone with my kids last night.
QOTW: my first instinct is monk but I'm not 100% sure what that all entails.

QOTW: paparazzi. My first instinct was monk, but honestly I'd miss having money too much, and presumably if the paparazzi were following me, I'd be rich, so...

Oh yay! I follow him too! I love the ravens so much, especially Merlina. I'm such a nerd about it now that when a segment with author Hilary Mantel aired on BBC World News that was filmed at the Tower, at the beginning of the piece there was a distinct Grok Grok and I turned to DH and said "Did you hear that?! It was one of the Tower ravens!"
