QOTW: If you had a time machine that would let you go back in time and definitively solve one mystery (you can only view history, not change it) what would you want to solve/know?

-Find Me by André Aciman -Notes from a Young Black Chef by Kwame Onwuachi -The Two Towers (audio) by J.R.R. Tolkein
QOTW: Off the top of my head I can only think of Jack the Ripper. ETA: ok after thinking about it more, I'd like to know if George Mallory reached the summit of Everest and what happened to his camera.

I started "Luckiest Girl Alive" and "Daisy Jones and the Six", however the latter isn't catching me as much as I thought it would.
QOTW: There was a local murder in my area that was never solved. Her parents did a LOT of work to help other families of missing kids, I'd love for them to get closure, and justice.
- All The Lost Things by Michelle Sacks: 4.75 stars - Insurgent by Veronica Roth: 1.5 stars I’m currently reading Life will be the death of me by Chelsea Handler.
QOTW: I like the dinosaur answers. That would be cool.
I’m slogging through Less by Andrew Sean Greer. I’m not in the mood for it and probably would give up, but it won the Pulitzer and I have “less” than 100 pages to go, so I will keep on. I need a page turner next to get back on track.
QOTW: It wouldn’t matter to anybody else, but I’d want to know the source of my mom’s cancer, which was discovered when she was only about two years older than I am now. Was it years of secondhand smoke inhalation? Radon? That she could have taken better care of herself? Something genetic or a random mutation? I’ll never know.

I had a hard time with Less too. It just didn’t grab me.
I am reading Everything Is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo right now. Too early to know what I think so far.
QOTW: I would determine what happened to Madeleine McCann so the person could be brought to justice. I can’t imagine anything worse than not knowing what happened to your child and wondering if they are alive or dead.
Read: In the Clearing by Robert Dugoni In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire
I actually went to library and checked out a physical book for the first time in probably 15 years for the second one. I have been wanting to read that and the next in the series for ages but didn't want to pay $10 for a < 200 page book.
QOTW: Jack the Ripper's identity was the first thing that came to mind.
QOTW: I'd love to know about Jesus' life from age 13-30ish since there is nothing written about it. On a personal note I'd love to know exactly how many times my Granny was actually married.
