I'm coming back to this. The Nathan belt was nice, but it arrived damaged. I had to return it. It didn't look like the bottles were adjustable, and it hit my back in a strange place. The Flip Belt was a no go when I got it. It was too tight.

I used to have an Amphipod belt that was customizable. The water bottles were removable and adjustable. I don’t know if they still make that belt, but they may have something similar. However, I didn’t love the way the Amphibod bottles worked - they kind of clip into the holders. I couldn’t always get them to clip in correctly while I was running. It may work better for walking and hiking.
Another option is a small hydration pack. I have one from Ultimate Direction. I love it. It’s more comfortable than my belt, and I prefer using the pack for longer runs.
I don't have personal experience with this one, but have the Nathan Peak hydration waist belt on my list to try. It's one 18oz bottle vs. more smaller ones. Also take a look at Ultimate Direction belt options. I see many trail runners with those as well, and I love my UD vests.
Wines Not Whines, I have a small Camelback pack that I used to use for mountain biking. I bought a new bladder for it not long ago and could use that if I had to. It's a bit more than I want to carry.
I bought this running belt this week and tried it yesterday. It wasn't terrible. It will hold a full size bottle. I used an 11 oz Nathan that I had. Plus, it was cheap. I'll probably keep it.
