QOTW: If we all have to stay isolated for weeks at time, what's your plan to keep yourself entertained? Have a reading list? A Netflix list? A project you want to do?
I read Before and After: The Incredible Real-Life Stories of Orphans Who Survived the Tennessee Children's Home Society. It was an interesting and previously unknown history to me. The book itself was just OK. I also read The Authenticity Project which was a pleasant escape from what's going on right now. I started The Sun Down Motel last night. Good so far.
QOTW: We have so many shows/movies to watch between Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO, and Apple TV that I think we'll be good on that front. I have four unread library books on my table right now and I'm going to pick up five more tomorrow. I don't know when/if our library system is going to close. I'm thinking that tomorrow might be my last trip for a while. If I zip through the library books I have I'll either buy some ebooks (so many of the new books I want to read aren't available as ebooks at the library otherwise I'd do that) or read some of the unread books I have at home. We also need to hang up some artwork, organize our closets and garage, and put together an entertainment center.
I am still reading The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys.
QOTW: Our schools just shut down for at least the next two weeks. I plan on homeschooling during that time, reading, watching movies, letting the kids play video games, play board games, spring cleaning,.... I know we can keep ourselves busy.
Graduates in Wonderland: The International Misadventures of Two (Almost) Adults by Jessica Pan and Rachel Kapelke-Dale
Plus half of a few books I gave up on.
QOTW: I picked up some library books earlier this week, have a ton unread on my Kindle, lots of board games, I have some craft kits I’ve bought and not made. Plus cooking! I’ve been buying extra food for about a month so we are pretty well stocked. We also have Netflix, Hulu, CBS, Prime, Britbox and Acorn so lots of streaming options. And Netflix DVD!
I’ve been flipping through Eating the Sun: Small Musings on a Vast Universe by Ella Frances Sanders. It’s a series of shorter thoughts on the planet and science, with illustrations.
QOTW: I have a handful of unread books out, which is good since I usually read physical books and our library is now closing on Monday. Gathering books was part of my prep coming into this. I have other vague goals for this next batch of time, like “organize the shit in the basement” and “prep the year end Girl Scout slideshows.” I’ll try to do yoga and some enriching/fun projects with the kids.

I finished The Starless Sea, by Erin Morgenstern. I hope she starts writing more often because I love her voice. I'm now reading Summer Wives, by Beatriz Williams. I won it on goodreads. So far so good.
QOTW: Well, the timing on this thing sucks because I lost my job a week ago and no one is hiring during the pandemonium. It's stressing me out and I'm doing a lot of online job hunting and hoping to hear something sooner than later. I am taking care of projects I've been putting off around the house, though. Plus we have e-books, board and video games, and plenty of streaming/cable tv options, too. I'd rather be interviewing for a new and better job though.
I just finished another Keeper of the Lost Cities book and now am going to finish American Gods. I was listening to it on audio but I won’t be commuting for the next three weeks at least. My library will be closed as of 6 p.m. today
QOTW: I’m a teacher, so I will be attempting distance learning with my students. Beyond that we’re got Lego plans, crafting, lots of reading, cleaning... hoping to get a decent schedule going, but we’ll see.
I finally had a good reading week: Life Will Be The Death of Me by Chelsea Handler: I sure how to rate You Were Made For This by Michelle sacks: 2 stars The Girl In Red by Christine Henry: 4 stars
QOTW: I’m going to try to keep my kids busy and hopefully get some reading done. I would love to get our storage room organized and maybe the garage too depending on the weather.

QOTW: reading, scrapbooking, maybe watching some TV, boardgames, crafts and baking with the kids, puzzles if I can get my hands on some new ones. BUT I am a nurse, so unless I am sick I'll be working and majority of my job can be done from home, so will do that as able. We did a lot of cleaning today, so if we get sick at least we don't have to worry about the house.

I'm currently read The Nickel Boys, Open Book and HP#1.
QOTW: I have approximately 8 million hours of TV and movies I want to watch and at least 1300 books on my TBR list. Also, my office has become a dumping ground and is a total disaster. I plan to organize that this weekend.
