H’s work is insane right now and he’s totally stressed out - but less stressed out than he would be if he had to take the train downtown every day, so I guess that’s good.
My DH finally fixed the window in my (our) home office so I can open it. We've only lived here 3 years lol. I think I will end up losing weight because with DH and DS home and around all the time I won't be snacking like usual while working... mainly because I don't want them to find my stash lol.
I'm still working (I'm a nanny for a physician's family) and H's office closed today for at least 30 days, so now I have a house husband! He's doing all the laundry, cooking all the meals, making sure the kids do some reading and school work every day. It's awesome*.

My parents have been fostering a dog they have fallen in love with. They were due to go on a 2 month trip this week and had adopters lined up for the dog, though my mom had said many times if it weren’t for the vacation this dog would be their first foster failure (after over 50 dogs fostered over the years). They lost their last dog over 2 years ago and have been dog less other than fosters since. Well their vacation has obviously been cancelled and today the adopters called and backed out of the adoption. My parents are now officially adopting their foster!
I have been trying to convince my family that we should adopt another dog (me-the only person who is not a dog person, well, until we got our perfect little princess that we adopted three years ago). Our local shelter is seeking emergency foster parents and I applied yesterday. I hope we find a pup who is a good fit with our family.
Today I went to see my 75 YO mom. I took my own camp chair and we sat outside 6 ft apart. When I opened the chair, which I hadn’t used in 5 months, I found my missing gloves! Last spotted in November, and badly missed. Lol.
My breastmilk stash is growing thanks to an additional pump I can do in the morning while my H feeds him a bottle which I won't need to send to daycare!
I have a window in my "home office" (a designated corner of my bedroom) so I can look out the window and watch the squirrels. Unlike my real office, where I have an interior cubicle and fluorescent lighting. So, that's an improvement.
I thought of another: I can make sure my H remembers to eat the leftovers he "packed" for lunch instead of getting forgotten and going bad like they usually do.
