Dear Tax clients How do you not understand stay home? I promise as soon as the order is lifted I will call you and you can come pick up at a schedule time because I know for a fact you will all swarm me and I would still like to limit the number of people in my office. tax lady who has had the same conversation 3 times in the last hour
Dear DH, I can hear you snoring on the living room floor as I WAH in the kitchen. If you say one word about being tired later, I might have to cut you. I was up at 6am with 2 of 3 kids and woke you at 7am so I could start working. You seem baffled that I am tired because I went to bed at 10pm so I should have got a good 8 hours of sleep. I can't sleep very well due to stress, anxiety, and most of all, your snoring! I haven't been able to sleep 8 hours straight in a week due to sick kids. And I won't be able to go to bed early tonight because I am teaching 6-9pm online. Keep this up and you'll be sleeping in the backyard because your snoring can be heard everywhere in the house! Love, Your adoring (but seriously on the verge of a breakdown) wife

Dear WPs,
I'm not completely sad about the forced WFH. I don't miss my commute, even though it wasn't terrible (30 minutes, half of it on a low-traffic, scenic road). I have an hour of my day back, and I can feel less stress in my shoulders from not having to rush out the door in the morning and rush home after work. I'm happy to use that hour to sleep in a little, be able to make the kids a better breakfast, and get in 20 minutes of exercise everyday. It's also nice to save some money and reduce our carbon footprint (even if just temporarily) by not driving everyday. I'm hoping after this that more companies will be open to giving employees the option to WFH more.
Dear WP, Spent the day in the ER, not virus related. Had some really scary heart stuff going on with dizziness and nausea. Not sure if it's stress or something else. All tests came back clear but docs haven't really mentioned that it was a panic attack. So no answers, spent a day sitting in the hospital alone, and now trying to figure out what's next. Signed Twinmomma
Dear Mom, Spending five days with you would be helpful and exhausting simultaneously. Texting me about it from the parking lot of the ER is not helping my stress level. Signed Daughter
Thanks all. It was some crazy heart palpitations that went on for about 20 minutes. Really freaked me and beau out! The way it lingered and I still felt awful after made me think it wasn't just panic or stress. But no real answers today.
I realize this is not an easy time to own three food-service small businesses. However, you are only two days into your state recommendation to stay home, and you are being overly fatalistic. The government is not trying to kill businesses by telling people to stay home - it is necessary. You are lucky in tons of ways versus most people, and you will be fine in the long run.
Signed, sister trying really really hard to be supportive
Thank you thank you thank you for picking up a desk and chair for me yesterday and then spending all night putting them together. My first two hours of work today are already better!
Dear WP's,
I kind of miss working amidst the chaos of the kids and in the same room as DH.

Dear DS's teacher, I appreciate you reaching out to the parents. But please pick one method of communication. I don't need an email, a phone call and messages on Class Dojo all at once. Plus that seems like a lot of extra work for you too. Signed, Busy parent
twinmomma, feel better. If it helps, I had a lot of palpitations last year, eco, Holter monitor later, all good. It seems that this happens, sometimes stress related.
Dear self,
You could have slept in 1 hour, yet you woke up a half hour earlier.
Signed, Ugh.
Dear self,
I like me new office. It's very nice. My new coworkers are a bit annoying.
rere, my coworkers are overall tolerable, but they really have their moments. The older one is so whiny and huffy when she's struggling with stuff. And the one who just recently joined our team a few years ago is constantly screaming at people. I keep telling him that HR does not condone that kind of aggression in the work place, but it hasn't made much of a difference.
Dear career, So it takes a pandemic to get calls from several companies in a week. A few I never contacted.. We shall see Signed Continuing to work and aim high
Dear son, So glad you are enjoying your real time digital online school. I would cook your teacher dinner every night to ensure this continues. This helps normalize your day since you see teachers and friends. Signed Happy mama
