At home he wears a diaper for weekend nap and bedtime. These The reason for this is because pull ups hold like half a pee and he would leak through it every night and nap. He also likes to sometimes take his morning shit while sitting in bed. I'm not interested in ideas to reduce liquids before bed or take him to the bathroom as a dream pee. He's a champion 12-13 hour sleeper and I trust he won't go to college this way (if we can ever leave our house again lol).
Pull ups would be a bit easier though because sometimes right before bed he says he needs to pee so then we need to take the diaper off and on again and BLAH. Do "Goodnights" hold a lot? Or are they like pull ups in that they're only meant to hold 1 "accident". I'm looking at something like these. (If you can't tell I really like Target's Up&Up brand for diapering). I'll need to order another box soon, but if these suck as much as pull ups do then we'll just stick with diapers as he's only in a size 6 and they sell a size 7 too so we have lots of time.
ETA: It seems like they for sure hold more than one pee, but I guess that depends on how much he pees. My 5-y-o is just transitioning out of Goodnites and while they were often wet, sometimes they were VERY full and sometimes they actually leaked.

Thanks! I think we'll give them a try. His diaper probably leaks once every 2 weeks or so at this point, but it sometimes weighs like 15 lbs. haha
Goodnites and a sposie for my DS (will turn 4 next month). I tried pull ups and cleaned a pee soaked bed every day until I asked on here. I was told about sposies and goodnites. Don't be me. FWIW, goodnites and sposies are on my subscribe and save. I get goodnites monthly (22 in a package) and sposies every 3 months (90 in a package).

Goodnites yes. When we moved from diapers to Goodnites was when we went from Up & Up brand to name brand (Goodnites). Can't go cheap here, unfortunately.

Goodnights hold more pee than Pull Ups. My 3.5 year old twins use the nighttime pull-ups without issues, but I also limit liquids in the evenings. One of them started leaking through overnight size 6 diapers a while ago, but hasn’t had issues with the 4T/5T night time pull-ups. DS1 wore Goodnights until he was 5 and was a heavy bedtime wetter without them leaking, but the Target brand ones leaked and didn’t fit as well. I stuck with Goodnights or UnderJams.

Good nights hold more pee for sure. However I’ve had 2 kids that still peed at night at aged 7 and still got in pull-ups (size 4-5) and don’t leak. They are cheaper.
