The last thing we did before our area locked down, on March 12, was select cabinets for our 10-years-in-the-making kitchen remodel. We were supposed to take a day or 2 to make some final minor decisions, then place the order that Monday. Instead, all non-essential businesses shut down on March 13.
I CANNOT WAIT to get the remodel moving again. Being shut in at home, and doing so much cooking and baking is only highlighting how awful our kitchen is. I hereby solemnly swear that I will not ever complain about the disruption to my life from the remodel. We also had some related house projects (new drywall in the living room, painting, new carpets upstairs) that we were going to pull the trigger on. I just want everything done.
(and of course socializing and seeing family. that is a given)

Haircuts for everyone! My DS looks like he belongs in a band. LOL. I don't see my parents much anyway, but we'll go visit MIL. Really, we're just hoping we get to go camping soon. We've had to cancel one trip and can't make any reservations right now because everything is closed.

Visiting my parents (maybe the zoo, they have a membership) Haircuts Kids gymnastics classes Go out to eat somewhere Be able to just wander around Target
See my family and friends in person. Get a haircut. Have the house to myself when MH goes to work and DD goes to daycare - get work and chores done on my schedule, use the bathroom without an audience. Go out to eat. Go to the store whenever I want, or when I think of a random dinner ingredient I don’t have, or “just because.” Not waiting 2 weeks and then be terrified the whole time. Not wipe down anything that comes into the house like mail or groceries. Not wash (and chap) my hands a thousand times a day. Not have to ration things like milk and hand soap because idk when I can go buy them again.

Drop the dog off at the groomer. He is a shaggy mess, and my cutting skills, while allowing him to see, are definitely getting the side eye from him.
After that, I want to go away for the weekend with my girl friends. I love my family, but day 19 of only being with them, I am ready for some others to talk to who know how to clean up after themselves, and make their own food.
Raincheck on our anniversary dinner out (it was 13 years on 3/17).
Make plans to visit my friends on the west coast. We had plans to go to Colorado in August together but ended up cancelling the VRBO. We never got around to booking flights because Southwest wasn't booking out that far, and then all the shut downs happened.

Not cook for exactly 470627 days (ok, maybe not quite that long, but you get the idea). Make ALL THE PLAYDATES; take my son and his buddies wherever they want to go. Hold an actual book again, rather than reading on a device. See my friends--for dinner, a drink, a show, a walk down the same sidewalk (lol)

1. Go to the beach and parks. Spend as much time as we can outside.
2. Go see the grandparents. We were supposed to drive to visit one for spring break and also see the Grand Canyon. That’s canceled. We had a couple of big milestones that I was supposed to fly to see my family for in June/July that may be canceled. I was *this* close to buying my plane tix before this all happened, but now I’m going to wait until the last minute.
3. Neighborhood moms night out.
I’m actually glad we are not eating out as much and hope we can continue that.

I think given the condition that my roots will be in, a trip to the salon for some highlights is going to be my first luxury.
Otherwise, I just want to do something fun with my kids. They are really being troopers so far, but they are not homebodies, so this is hard for them. We're hoping to be able to visit family in Florida whenever we can get down there.

We own a set of buzzers and my h was so desperate for a cut he let me do it even though I always mess up.
janegold I’m due June 9th. It would’ve amazing to have like a week between kids going back and new baby being born!
June 20 here. I am selfishly crossing everything that I can still send my 3 yo to summer camp so I can relax on my mat leave, lol.
Same. This will be my 4th (and final) baby. I am also crossing everything to not be stuck at home with a 7, 6, 2-year-old and newborn during my maternity leave! I was so excited to stop working at 39 weeks and have a week to myself before giving birth

June 28 for me. First timer, so I guess I've got that going for me?
We were on a weekly schedule of going out to eat at a restaurant, which we wanted to do for the last 6 months when that'll ever be possible but that's of course ruined (can still do delivery/takeout, but it's not the same). So that would be my first stop.
If I miss out on that then I guess it's more house arrest after months of house arrest.
1. See my dad (and his gf) who live 5 mins away and who we usually see 4-5 times a week. My daughter misses them both so, so much. 2. Eat sushi at our favourite spot (closed and not doing takeout) 3. Send my kid to daycare. I need a break, even if it involves going into work!
Hands down, 100%, see my sister and mom and give them a big hug. They are each about 5 miles from my house and it is agonizing to not be with them right now.

I just want to see my class, in person. I'm hoping I can give them hugs. My dream is that the serum tests will be available and I will have already had it.
Being about to workout with my friends again. For DD to continue PT/OT therapy To still be able to go on my 40th birthday trip in July. I am already considering rebooking for 2021.
I have a surprise 40th bday party scheduled the last weekend in July by my husband. I really hope we get to go as he has worked hard on it and I didn’t have to plan anything!!
Take my daughter to see my mom and dad. This is hard both ways. C messaged my mom yesterday and said, “I’m afraid I’ll never see you again.” My heart broke.
Hop on a plane to the remote island vacation we were supposed to enjoy in March. Of course I’ll most definitely will be in the “no fly” part of my pregnancy by that point (or hell, that baby might even be here), so probably just get dd back into her normal routine.

Go to the gym and then to the pool for swim team and pool time. This will be my kids' 3rd year on swim team, and it is my FAVORITE part of summer. We do the same routine M-F of going to the gym and then straight to the pool, where I get to sit without my kids for an hour and chat with my bff, whose kids are also on swim team. And then we have a picnic lunch and hang out at the pool if it's nice out too, and my kids are old enough that I get to lay on a chair and read while they have a fabulous time.
