Anyone played any good ones? Or fallen for any good ones? One of my friends posted an article that our governor was having every child in the state repeat the same grade next year. I click on the link and of course it was a joke.
My husband constantly likes to sneak up from behind me and startle me. Not just on April fools day.

megster20185 Do you live in Ohio? I live in NE Ohio and my sister sent me that article this am. My school district actually sent out a district wide email with corresponding text message that it was joke article.

My friend is pranking her husband, having her friends text him from unknown numbers to inquire about the tiger he has for sale. We've all been watching Tiger King!

No I’m in Pennsylvania. When I clicked on the link it was a website where you could create a joke article to send to friends.

I’m in SC and saw this. It took me a minute to realize it was a joke.
Maybe I’m a spoil-sport, but I really don’t think practical jokes are appropriate right now. But then again, I think they are inappropriate 99% of the time under normal circumstances.
I saw exactly one joke on FB this morning and it was in very poor taste. I’m glad I haven’t seen any more.

I hate April Fools day every year. But a while ago I bought some beanboozled jelly beans because DS1 REALLY wanted to try them. I had forgotten about them, but today I am so glad that I had them tucked away, Ds1’s Teacher told them it was April’s fools in his virtual morning message. Once he knew, he wanted to “do something “ for April fools. Well, these vile beans have kept my 6 yo and 3 yo occupied for a large part of the day. So it’s a win for me.
I’ve never been a big fan of April Fools, partly because I’m not clever enough to come up with good ones. Unfortunately, DS1 (9) LOVES it. So...I tried to play along. I wrote out their school schedule and included all kinds of ridiculous things.
He pranked me 5 times...most involving duct tape somewhere it shouldn’t be. Thankfully, it’s crappy Dollar Tree stuff, so it doesn’t stick well to anything other than itself!
