There is nothing on this planet like Easter candy. The absolute best weeks of the year to go to CVS.
There are two kinds of Reese's eggs FYI. There's the flat kind, the ones that are just egg shaped PB cups. Those are are without a doubt the best shape of any of the Reese's peanut butter cup shapes. But then there's the eggs that are the same size and shape as a Cadbury Egg, and those are basically the best candy ever.
I also like Cadbury eggs and Cadbury mini eggs. This year I discovered that there are Cadbury Creme eggs that come in a mini-size - like an inch tall. Same chocolate, same filling, but tiny. Those are better than the big eggs, because the ratio of chocolate to sugary center is perfect.
Jelly beans and peeps don't do it for me.
I don't think I've ever had the Coconut nests, but I'll be sure to look for them on my next candy run.
Cadbury cream eggs - but only the regular full sized ones, not mini eggs, not the mini cream eggs, not the caramel ones.
And the flat Reese's eggs. I also kind of like those cheap Palmer's peanut butter eggs.
Peeps are awful. If I'm going to eat a marshmallow candy I want either the Russel Stover chocolate covered things, or the super low quality eggs covered with the worst chocolate (they come in an actual egg carton).
Whoppers robins eggs. Followed by jelly beans. I also like black, no one else I’m the family does. I also like to suck on them until they are just the jelly.

Oh yes! I forgot all about those! I haven’t had one in years but suddenly I need them,
I think they also make the peanut butter eyeballs at Halloween. I never buy them, but my eye exam is always in October, and my eye doctor always has a big bucket of them out.

I would eat (and make myself sick on) an entire bag of the candy coated malted eggs. Only the Whoppers ones though. None of this off-brand crap. Strangely I don't actually like regular Whoppers that much.

Jelly beans, but only ones made with pectin. And a solid bunny as long as it is good chocolate. I placed an order for candy just for me from a candy store from my childhood in New Hampshire.

I was just coming back to post about these. I love them too. I can pretty much always find them in the clearance section after Easter so they're cheap. Alas, not this year....

My last trip to Target, a few days before everything started completely locking down and everyone totally started panic buying soap and toilet paper, I bought myself a single carton. I've managed to hold off on eating them. I'm making myself wait to eat all the Easter candy until Easter.
