I am living in zone 8 but it’s just barely south of zone 7. I am not really familiar with gardening in this zone. If you are a gardener, what time of year is it typically ok to transplant annuals into planter boxes?
I’m from Michigan where Good Friday is yard clean up day and Mother’s Day is when flowers go into the ground. Can I assume it’s ok to plant now?
You can look up your last frost date on the farmer's almanac site, I am in 6a and plan to put my frost hardy veggie starts in the ground in a week and warm weather crops will be planted after April 15th. Your dates are a little bit earlier but it also depends what you are planting.

I agree with above, when I looked up my dates is gives a pretty big period to transplant. I'd use this site: www.burpee.com/growingcalendar
