If so, I’m in trouble bc I saw something somewhere that it’s good. Soft, and tight weave.
We just got an email about an EAP webinar. On social security benefits and retirement. It feels a little tone deaf when people are so worried and isolated.
FWP post but I just frustrated I can't find any place to purchase hand weights. I purchased them on Amazon two weeks ago and today they decided to cancel my order. But now everywhere sold out of stock. Just need and 8 and a 10. I am taking a ton of virtual classes and only have a set of plates that are not made to do arm exercises like that. I have used can food as well but not heavy enough. Maybe it's the new toilet paper.
We're having huge internet problems at our house, and DH and I are both WFH. Every device had to get off the wifi b/c he's hosting a public meeting for elected officials and those take top priority, so then it was musical chairs of rooms and devices and headphones, etc. Lots of frustration. I'm supposed to host a zoom at 11 and I don't see how I can b/c my office is right next door to his and the sound carries. ARGH.
There are worse problems. This is a small problem. I keep repeating that to myself.

Have you tried somewhere like Dicks Sporting Goods (online). It seems like something they would have.
The neighborhood next to where my Grandma and parents live in Florida refused to shut down their pool (county restrictions at that point, not state).
The county came to shut it down, they refused. Police came, they refused. The police had to call for backup to shut down the pool and fined the HOA $5K. This is a 55+community and the pool is pretty small.

I just checked Dicks and they are out of individual hand weights. I will keep looking.
I'm donating to the food bank and the women's shelter, along with some of my own money to the animal rescue I volunteer with.
We will be paying DDs rent and other necessities until she can get unemployment coming in. She works for one of the FL theme parks and won't be paid past this week. She is in college but her classes have moved online for the rest of the semester. She can't get out of her lease to move home.
I am so exhausted. I don't have a reason for this, other than the weight of constant worry. I have asthma and other breathing issues so I'm high risk. I was furloughed from my job so H is the only one earning an income right now. I slept 10 hours last night and still could take a nap right now.
Total FWP - I need to figure out what color to paint my 3 season room that was destroyed by hail last year and being rebuilt (hopefully) soon. I usually go to the paint store and stare at the paint chips for a while to see what I like, then bring them home, look at them in the space, and then go back out and buy paint.
mrssandro you probably did this, but I saw some exercise stuff on target.com yesterday. I was looking for a medicine ball, but they had some. Could you use kettle bells instead?

Gallon jugs filled with water will weigh about 8lbs.
I'm not sure, but I think I'm going to get laid off in the near future. My boss and the HR person called me yesterday and it sounds like they are prepping me for part-time work with no benefits or being laid off. I have to talk to them today and it seems like they "don't know the future," but that seems like they are just shielding me. Ugh - this is a tough time to only be a one-income household, not really much savings at the moment since I spent most of that on legal fees for divorce this past year and adjusting to covering the mortgage/bills myself only. Just trying to not freak out, but I've been without billable work since early Feb and there are a lot of us in our group who are usually 80% billable that are like 0-40% now. Ugh. And now a few jobs I was looking at in government have been pulled and are postponed for hiring. Send me all your hope that I can support my house on part-time salary and hopefully skip needing health insurance for a few months. It sucks going from a two-income middle-upper class life to a middle-class life and not to possibly without a job in less than a year. I am going to be fine, just need to adjust and not let the stress get to me.

I randomly and briefly woke up at 12:30 am and usually I have no problems going right back to sleep when that happens, but this time I was like, "WAIT!!! Let me check if I can get a time slot for grocery delivery now that it's a new day." So I logged in the app and snagged delivery for next Thursday. This is what life has become now - thinking about grocery delivery time slots when I'm half-asleep.
(To be clear, we are tipping way more than ever and this particular grocery company has been doing a good job for their employees to keep them safe; when we see them drop off food outside our door they are wearing lots of protective gear, etc.)
I also have a FWP. I woke up this morning and my Fitbit Versa was dead. I can't get it to restart and I know it's not the battery. I have had it for just short of 2 years but for the price I expected it to last longer.
It was actually very helpful in keeping me moderately active now that I am home rather than walking a lot at work like normal. I have to decide whether to hold off (boo!), buy another Fitbit, or try one of the other brands. I just don't really feel like paying $200+ again.

I have been checking Target regularly online and everyone says sold out. Even kettles. I have tried Walmart, Dicks, Academy and Nebraska Furniture Mart. I am guessing it has to do with stock being delayed from China.
I may have to go into the house of someone that may have Corona virus. Yes, it's semi an emergency, this is not for a social call or anything like that. He's been rushed to the hospital and someone needs to get his dog. What should I do to protect myself for the few min I'll be in there. I'm going to put on gloves, but I don't have a mask or anything.

Do you have a regular studio? My Barre/Pilates/yoga studio is loaning them out to their members. Maybe you have a studio that would do that?
I also would check the Target - there was one 10lb and one 8lb weight left in stock in our Target a couple days ago, but they weren't showing up online. It's not a pair, but it might help? Or walmart or Big 5 Sporting Goods online? Hmmm. I am trying to think of other options.

My boss was trying to buy a weight set in early March as gyms were first closing, and he said that the guy at the store he went to said that he could have made his yearly commission in that week if he had enough equipment in stock. Since basically every gym closed, people were looking for stuff to have at home.

I have the same method usually. This is what I did.
I emailed the neighborhood to see if someone had the deck of all the paint colors. I borrowed it (contact free pick up) and the picked from the deck. Then I got two couple cans from SW (contact free). I liked one, so this coming weekend I will order the whole gallon over the phone and do another contact free pickup. I also smartly included foam brushes in my sample can order, go me.

Call customer service. Often, they just send you a new one.

Seems like as public/private gyms are closing, people are just buying more home gym equipment. I was looking for some stuff yesterday and lots of stuff is sold out (even products made in the US at Rogue Fitness).
I have been weighing back and forth if going to target and checking in store is worth it. We have 230 confirmed cases in our county and it's growing by 30 a day. I can live with the plates for now. I shouldn't have depended on Amazon but they wouldn't let me cancel my order. I did get a resistance band and can use that as alternative. I should have used my head and prepared for this. lol
