2. I'm in the midst of adding things to a couple of Baby Registries, and I'm feeling very "baby-stupid." I don't have any nieces or nephews and not much baby experience in general, and I feel so ignorant about what is really needed and not, and there are SO many options for everything. There is so much information online, and there is so much to research.
3. Is it standard to include baby formula to your must-haves?
If so, what formula have you used/preferred?
When did you purchase the first box of formula - before baby, days/weeks/months after baby was born?
Were there allergy issues you had to keep in mind when choosing formula?
I want to nurse, but I have no idea how my breasts and the baby will respond after he's born. All the reading material provided by my hospital is very pro-breast feeding, and they don't have any real formula recommendations.
4. My extended family talked about maybe having a Zoom meeting for Easter, but we haven't planned anything yet. My family isn't religious, and Easter isn't a big deal. It would be nice to chat with people, even if it just remains in our standard group text. H and I have talked about getting take out, and being slightly fancier than normal. I might wear a bra for a couple hours, and maybe wear one of my maternity dresses for funzies.
5. I'm on Week 5 of Stay @ Home, and I'm getting into a decent routine. The weather is getting nicer, and that's been helpful to my mood. I also was able to finally get myself a maple bar donut - something I've been craving for weeks. It's the little things, lol.

@maddawg228 have you looked at Lucie’s list? I found that to be very helpful.
1. 21w2d 2. Had my a/s scan on Monday. They let me FaceTime with Dh and dd which was nice. Dh could have come but we didn’t want to leave dd with someone. 3. When do you order your pump? I need to call my insurance I think it’s 3rd tri. I also need to research pumps. I had a spectra s2 last time and it was fine. Wondering if i would be happy with the S1 or willow or Freemie. 4. I’m not sure what we are doing for Easter. I may make a nice meal and bust out the China. 5. We are doing pretty well. My OB appt was the first building other than my house I’d been in since March 13. I’m off work this week on spring break. Distance learning starts next week for my district so things will be busy next week.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Ds has been so active these last few days! Dd has been able to feel him a few times (& she is sooooo sweet), and I can even see his little kicks now and feel bony little body parts.
3. Questions for the group? None right now
4. If you celebrate Easter - how will you be celebrating it this year while social distancing? We might do a zoom call with my family. Other than that, DH and I just got some Easter stuff for dd. We’ll dye eggs and maybe get takeout that night.
5. Extra question - how are you all coping with everything going on? Vent away. We have good days and bad days. Yesterday was a good one. Today was rough for all of us for some reason. I will say the one positive has been having DH around more. I can see it’s really benefiting dd. He usually travels a decent bit, so it’s been nice.

I don't go here anymore, but -- with both of my kids, I got free samples in the mail, I forget if they were Similac or Enfamil. I planned to try to BF, so I stuck the samples in the closet and figured that was enough to get me started if I needed it in a pinch, and then I could buy more if I used it. Especially with my first I had no idea if BFing would work out, but I also didn't want to buy stuff that I would hopefully not need. The free sample was just enough of a cushion to take some pressure off me while figuring it out. I EBFed both kids (DS is 10m and still nursing) and eventually gave away the samples both times.
I definitely would not pre-buy soy or hypoallergenic formula JIC of allergy. That's a "cross that bridge if/when you get there" scenario.

1. How far along are you? 18w4d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I feel like I'm *almost* at the point where I look pregnant most of the time instead of just bloated.
3. Questions for the group? How do you settle on the "right" products? I'm super conflicted with every purchase. Like I'll look at a carseat that has overall great reviews, but I start questioning is it safe enough? There are others that are rated higher. Then I start looking at those, and they have their own downfalls. I feel like I'm going in a circle.
4. If you celebrate Easter - how will you be celebrating it this year while social distancing? N/a
5. Extra question - how are you all coping with everything going on? Vent away. The real answer here is not well. I cry a lot. It's been slightly better since it has warmed up a bit but it hit me that all of our fun pre-baby summer plans are cancelled. I can't even go over to my in-laws pool. Feeling very sorry for myself.
