1. How far along are you? 28 weeks 2. Recent Pregnancy AW/Vents/Randoms: had my glucose screening and TDAP today 3. Questions? 4. Have you decided on a name for your LO? Ugh no! I’ve got crafting and monogramming to do! Front runners are Josephine (Josie), Adelaide, and Suzanna (Dh isn’t a fan of this one but I like how unpopular it is and has some family ties).

1. 32w, 3d
2. Since 29 or 30w H and I have been able to see DS moving and grooving in my belly. The movements are like ripples and rolling motions, but definitely a baby moving! I have an anterior placenta, so I've been behind on feeling and seeing movements. After a few weeks, I'm still amazed at seeing my belly move on its own!
We started our Pregnancy, L&D, and Newborn class via Zoom last week. The class also has a Google Classroom, where we can chat and the teacher posts a lot of interesting articles/sources to review. I'm a little underwhelmed since in-person would be preferable in normal circumstances, but it's nice to see and talk with other FTPs during COVID.
3. Is anyone else taking any type of Pregnancy/Baby classes, or planning to?
4. We're down to two names - Gordon or Malcolm. His middle name will be my maiden surname.

Fwiw there was no socializing amongst each other at the birth classes I went to
2. Recent Pregnancy AW/Vents/Randoms: I’m really pleased with how the kid’s rooms are coming along. We changed three rooms to make room for ds. (Dd moved to our larger spare room that was our office/guest room since she needed a big girl bed AND all of the playroom toys needed to go into her room. The guest room/office moved to her room. Ds is going in the old playroom.) it’s been a ton of work, but everything is about 85% done and I really love both DD’s and DS’s room.
I passed my 3 hr glucose test!
3. Questions? None
4. Have you decided on a name for your LO? No. We’re not even close. Boy names have been so tough for us. We have maybe 6-7 names we don’t hate.
1. 36w2d 2. Moving to weekly OB appointments this week, not much to go! Baby is head down, has been since about 30 ish weeks. I still feel like there is so much to do but most of our to do list has been taken care off. I was hoping to be done work by June but I think I am going to walk half days in June until the 19th. 3. Nope 4. Yes, PDQ - Charlotte
2. Recent Pregnancy AW/Vents/Randoms: We pretty much finished the nursery this weekend and I picked up a bunch of clothes this week, so I now feel ready for baby to make her appearance any time. It's still a bit early so I need to hold my horses, but I feel ready to be DONE. My BH are out of control, I can't walk or move for more than a few minutes without cramping, I can't get comfortable, especially at night, and I just don't want to be pregnant anymore. On the bright side, I no longer need to take progesterone as of this week! I was on it for I think 30 weeks of this pregnancy, and I am SO happy to be done!
3. Questions? For those of you who have given birth before, has anyone bought a special labor gown rather than just using the hospital issued one? I used the hospital one last time and I'm not looking to buy things that I don't need, but I'll consider it if anyone loved theirs.
4. Have you decided on a name for your LO? Noooo....we have our list narrowed down to 10ish names and I am hoping we can narrow down to 2-3 before we go to the hospital. We won't decide on a final name until we meet her.

So I used the hospital one for labor and delivery ( which ended in C-section so I'm sure they wouldn't have let me wear my own thing)
Then when I went to bed each of the nights, I slept in hospital gown
During the day, walking to NICU , having visitors, I was in loungy but real clothes

This time around...no visitors.
Still I want something nice and new for myself
Oh yeah, I changed into "real" clothes as soon as I was able to after delivery. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to buy something for labor/delivery. I think I will probably skip it again, especially since I plan for this to be my last delivery.

I used my own gown the entire time (43 hrs of labour). I only had to switch into a gown when I went for my c/s. I highly recommend it. I was so glad to have my own clothes.
2. First time failing the 1 hour glucose going for the 3 hour tomorrow a.m.
3. How is everyone’s nursery room or area coming along? We have collected a lot of items but still haven’t put it all together in the baby’s nursery yet. That room I still have a guestroom and half my daughters playroom.

Ours still looks more like the spare bedroom/H's video game playing room with a bunch of Amazon delivery boxes and baby gifts in piles. H is responsible for moving his clothes from the spare room to our room, moving the TV in there, and other items that a baby doesn't need.
I plan to assemble the bigger baby items we have by the time of my virtual shower (6/6), and I'm hoping baby's room looks more nursery-like by then (I'll be 34w then). The plan is for the baby to sleep in our room for the first four months or so, then he'll be moved to his crib. I'm hoping we'll finish up the nursery while we're in SIP/Family Leave.
madDawg228, no pregnancy or baby classes here, but this is baby number four so hopefully I have the hang of it by now. I’m also stuck having a repeat C-section so no need for laboring techniques.
janegold, I don’t have any laboring gowns since my last two pregnancies were repeat C-sections and this one will be too, but I did bring my own nightgowns/muumuus LOL, and I was so glad that I did. So much more comfortable than what they give you at the hospital. I just wish I didn’t get rid of the ones that I had after my last baby! I can’t seem to find any that are what I am looking for this time around. To be fair I haven’t looked that hard either. Last time I think I got a couple from Walmart but I have been avoiding going out due to Covid.

Ds’s room is about 80% done, but it currently looks like a flipping disaster. We had three different rooms to redo to make outr house work the way we want it to, so it is a holding area for the other two rooms overflow stuff until they are done. Luckily we wrapped up DD’s tonight, so I can finish moving her stuff out of his room.
janegold - I didnt get anything for DS, considered it for this pregnancy but decided against it. I doubt I will even leave the room this time because of all the restrictions so will just wear whatever they give me. If its something that can be used later as a nursing gown or something I may consider it but I dont think i'd specifically buy a labour gown.
janegold , I didn’t have a special labor gown, but I did bring a nursing gown + robe to use during my hospital stay, and I enjoyed having the robe to use over the hospital gown when walking to halls.

1. How far along are you? 26 weeks today
2. Recent Pregnancy AW/Vents/Randoms: I passed my GD test, no diabetes! Also, I feel like a switch got turned overnight, and I went from feeling baby move maybe a couple times a day (anterior placenta) to all day long.
3. Questions? Anyone have tips for lower back pain?
4. Have you decided on a name for your LO? We have a shortlist of 3, E annoyingly doesn't want to decide until she's born.
