Mine has stated I will get a credit for April and May on my June bill. I have autodraft, so I am not sure exactly how it will work. I am happy with any type of discount! I can buy a pizza or something. Lol.
I just paid my annual premium that begins May 1, and got a check in the mail today. Forty whopping dollars. While I appreciate it, when I just paid then $1500, it stings a bit.
Now, this was Safeco, but maybe others are doing something similar?
I have AAA insurance. I pay it in one lump sum in December (1500 for the year) and I got a check for $32 today so very similar to your numbers.
We have some small company bundled with our homeowners. I paid the entire year's premium upfront on like March 20th. They won't refund anything. Ugh.
I've been wondering about this. I pay Geico my 6 months up front, not monthly. I paid in Feb. and will again in Aug. I bet I won't get any credit either. I'll have to call them (even though I really don't want to lol).
I also pay GEICO every 6 months. Their website says all current customers will get a 15% discount when they renew. If that is the case and they don't raise the rates to offset it, that would be a pretty good discount for us.
