Well I have a peloton coming to me in about 7 weeks. But I am now paranoid I bought the wrong size shoes. I am normally a 9 and that’s what I ordered but should i size up to a 10? I just don’t want to have it come and then have to exchange the shoes and wait even longer to be able to use the bike!
What’s the benefit to doing that? I had a referral code from a friend so the shoes were pretty cheap. The Tiems look to be pretty expensive and that’s not even accounting for new pedals...
I haven’t tried the Peloton brand so take it with a grain of salt... The Tiems are so much more comfortable than other cycling shoes that I’ve tried. I also enjoy of the SPD clip is recessed in the shoe, so I can easily walk around and I can even go from cycling to doing a floor workout.

I just ordered some the other day. Do you think they run true to size?
I’m going to use them for bike commuting (if we ever go back to the office) and I love the idea of being able to walk through my building/the grocery store with normal looking sneakers.

The studio recommended going down half a size. I have wider feet so I ordered my normal size. They were super tight at first but after a few weeks they were great.
My only issue with wearing the shoes off the bike is that I can’t walk on concrete. Idk why, but my cleats scrape against the concrete and make a terrible noise. Half the people at CycleBar had the same shoes and I never heard their cleats scraping so maybe I just walk weird? I didn’t have any issues with any other surfaces.
They run small for sure. I used to be an 8.5 but now that I had kids I seem to be a solid 9. I got the 9s and I have to wear really thin socks. I tried upgrading to a 10 but they were too big so they advised me to stick with the 9. I really wish they had half sizes.

Thanks! I’m between sizes so I sized down based on the reviews, but I also have wide feet so I guess we’ll see.
The nice thing about the cleats is that you can just replace them if you wear them down on concrete. The noise is another issue entirely!
I am an 8 and I ordered an 8 and fit fine. My husband is a 12 on one foot and 13 on the other (lol) and ordered 12s and they also fit fine. I wear with thin socks.
My feet are a bit swollen because I am pregnant and I dont feel any discomfort but I also have narrow feet to begin with.
I think the sizes run pretty true. If you're a half size that doesn't have a Peloton shoe size match then I recommend sizing up. This shoe size conversion tool should get most people into the correct size. www.pelotonhacks.com/peloton-shoes-sizing-calculator/

I’m a solid 8 and ordered an 8 in my peloton shoes. They “fit” but I ended up hurting my foot because my toes were squished in the toe box, which led to other foot issues. I would size up unless you have a really narrow foot.
I would size up or just wear really thin socks. I wear an 8.5-9 so I ordered a 9 in the Peloton shoes. Thicker socks make the shoes tight, and if for some reason my feet are a little swollen any particular day, the shoes feel tight. If I just wear thin socks, I’m ok though.
