I switched back to a drip about 3 months ago and I love it. I love that I can set a timer and make each cup strong and full and it's ready and waiting for me when I walk downstairs.
Question..
How often do you clean yours? (I guess this applies to cup or drip makers) And what do you do?
I use white vinegar and distilled water.
And how much use does your maker get?
Mine is 2 full cups every morning. I think it's due but it got me wondering. It is kind of a pain project but worth it.

We have a moccamaster. It needs to be descaled every three months with a special product. We haven't done that lol. We clean the individual parts every day with warm soapy water the way it recommends. Ours says never use vinegar but each product is different!
Ours makes ten cups of coffee--and they are euro cups so in big american style it makes like maybe 6 cups. I highly recommend the moccamaster. It's expensive but I really like it.

Ours has a little indicator light that goes on when it needs to be cleaned. I'd guess it's every few months? (and I usually end up ignoring it for at least a couple weeks, LOL)
We have a Ninja coffee bar and I make a 1/2 pot every morning. H will sometimes make a single cup in the afternoon. I use the Nespresso for my afternoon cup.
I clean the ninja with 1/2 white vinegar, 1/2 water and then run 2 clean water cycles through. I haven't cleaned our Nespresso yet, but I know you aren't supposed to use vinegar.

We have a Cuisinart Brewmaster with thermal carafe. I make a pot every morning. Before quarantine, I cleaned it 2-3 times a year with vinegar and water. Since I’m home all the time, I’ve cleaned it twice. It has a clean cycle, so it’s really easy.

This is what we have, although I feel like it needs to be cleaned once a month. We've been making at least 2 pots a day lately, though.
