I would report this place to the county. My county has a helpline to call and report business that aren’t following rules (for both customers and employees).
I filed a complaint with my county Health Dept. They were even dumb enough to post pics on their FB showing servers without masks. I'll see if we have a hotline though too because I don't know if the health dept was the right place to file or not.
In my county, the hotline number is listed on the public health covid information page (where the update cases numbers and the rules).

This as it comes out CT is the only state to be down over 50% in new cases. We only just entered Phase 2 last week.
I'm going to have to keep an eye on this since we're planning to go to CT in the next month or two. We're staying at my family cottage and generally don't leave anyway but will probably need groceries and stuff. My state isn't on the quarantine list currently and I think we're still doing OK. For now.

@@@ sugarbear DD (who is 8) was asked to be on a basketball team starting practice next week and tournaments the second week of July. I am just not ready for indoor contact sports for the kids yet.
pumpkin, InBetweenDays, I go for a walk every day and usually end up walking around the track at the high school nearest me (Greenlake / Ravenna ish). Every day, there is a full football practice going on. No coach, but the boys are passing, tackling, and running drills. All with no masks. There are two different groups of obviously-organized little kids' soccer camps, probably 6-7 kids each. No masks for kids or coaches. Last week, there were several days where UW football players were also practicing on the field. Full tackle, running drills, contact. No masks. I can walk around the outside of the track and easily keep my distance, but I am absolutely flabbergasted that these daily practices continue.
That said, in my local Safeway and Fred Meyer, every person I've seen is masked. Granted, I only go once per week, but I feel like people in the stores are taking this way more seriously than they were even a month ago.
I was driving through Kirkland the other day, along the waterfront, and all the parks were packed with groups of people - no social distancing and no masks!
Similarly though, during my weekly grocery trips most people have been wearing masks; but not everyone.

I'm so happy to hear this and hope that it will be strictly enforced, however they enforce these kinds of things. I basically don't want to leave NJ or have anyone come here from out of state until a vaccine is widely available. I think it also will send a good message to other states that aren't following the phase guidelines or requiring masks.
ETA - I feel like I don't see NY and NJ being reported on nationally and didn't those two states do a really good job getting the curve down? Why are they not being used as an example for other states.

When they say travelers have to self quarantine, what exactly does that mean? Is it ok to stay with a family member as long as you stay at their house? Or do you have to get a hotel room? I don't think it's super enforceable if they say you can't stay with family members. I just wonder what the expectation would be.
The Trump admin. plans to end federal funding and support for coronavirus testing sites at the end of this month, @nbcnews has learned.
He’s going full steam ahead with pretending this is over, huh? It’s like he has no ability to see beyond what’s directly in front of him. Yes, for a second the low numbers will make people happy and feel better- but then people will start flooding hospitals and DYING. You won’t be able to ignore that.

Yes - he is. Our state hospital association sent out an email blast that they are hearing rumors he will either terminate, or allow to lapse, the national state of emergency. The state of emergency is the basis for many of the waiver that hospital systems have been operating under and will be emergently needed again if capacity becomes an issue (which seems likely, in many areas).

That's crazy. And I can almost guarantee that even though there isn't a coach on the field there is an organized program behind that practice.
@@@ DD started her travel lacrosse practices last Saturday. Had to do it in Snohomish since the fields in King don't officially open until July 1. They have to have their temperature taken at check-in, have to wear masks and stand 10' apart when on the sidelines or getting instructions, can only do drills with a group of 5, etc.
I was driving through Kirkland the other day, along the waterfront, and all the parks were packed with groups of people - no social distancing and no masks!
Similarly though, during my weekly grocery trips most people have been wearing masks; but not everyone.
I did a Met Market grocery pick up on Monday in Kirkland and decided to drive along Lake Washington Boulevard since it was 80 degrees out, just to see how things were going. I came home and said to my H, “I am really glad that I enjoy your company because we are NEVER getting out of quarantine with the way people are behaving at the parks and beaches.” So maddening. And now Kirkland apparently has paid employees to go encourage mask wearing and social distancing, But when I walked by another park the “ambassador” was just sitting there, surfing their phone, not doing anything. And of course no one is following the rules. I hope the mask mandate by Inslee helps.
I just got a call from my son in FL wondering if I’d mailed the masks I purchased from a friend. They’re on their way, thankfully. FL has a mandate (or at least Tampa and my son’s employer) for masks so Woot! I’m totally tempted to have my friend make masks for everyone at the wedding. Wedding favors! Masks and travel hand sanitizers. Lol.
I drove past Martha Lake the other day and it was shoulder to shoulder. Went grocery shopping in Mill Creek for milk, bread and eggs and only about 1/3 of the folks were in masks and in every aisle we went down there were non-masked shoppers going the opposite way they were supposed to for social distancing. Really frustrating. My diabetes and i really don’t appreciate the lack of consideration for my underlying-complications life here, neighbors.
Oh, and we have Sheriff Fortney guarding us. The guy who is a “constitutional sheriff”, thinks mandating masks is a violation of our individual rights, and won’t enforce those “unconstitutional” orders. The pushback in this part of the state is ridiculous.

Luckily, it looks like there is movement on Fortney being recalled. Fingers crossed.

DS has his first baseball practice tonight. Only batting and pitching practice, kid to parent. So, like, the kids are all there... but not actually playing together.
I just came across this video from the OC Board of Supervisors meeting where Michelle Steele states that dog's aren't so supposed to wear mask, so why should we?! WTF
“If counties are simply going to flaunt the rules and regulations… If they decide well, even though the numbers are going up, we’re done, we got this. We’re just going to dismiss these new rules and regulations, then we’re going to attach some considerations and consequences in this budget — $2.5 billion in this budget won’t flow to these counties,” Newsom said.

I am a little frustrated with DH right now. I am a teacher so we have been working from home since March 13. He in the other side has had to work, so we have pandemic very differently. A friend of his wants to fly out from Houston to spend the fourth with us. I am fully against this. We live in AZ and are seeing a surge, I know a Texas is experiencing a surge. Why would anyone take this chance? I have expressed to DH that I feel like his friend should change his trip to another time. DH feels like I am making a big deal out if nothing because “most people survive and are fine, we should all just get it and move on” 😣😣😣😣😣
I'm in Philadelphia. Everyone is masked in every store (EO and people are following it). About half of the people I see walking around are masked, which I am comfortable with (outside, no close contact, people pass but don't stop to chat), we are hanging out with two families in the backyard (all outside) - we all started with masks but now aren't but are socially distant.
We went to Delaware to the beach last week (our place) and I couldn't believe how different it was. Few masks, little social distancing. It made me really uncomfortable (we wore masks)
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

Same. I feel totally normal in a mask everywhere in Philly because everyone is wearing them. We went down the shore (ocean city) for the day on Tuesday and I saw maybe 1 other family in masks on the boardwalk. That’s it. I saw people rolling their eyes while we were walking to get ice cream and it is such an uncomfortable feeling. I just don’t understand the reluctance to put on a fucking mask.
I was watching the news today and a local sheriff (I was sure it would be mine but it’s another local Constitutional Asshat) was being interviewed. He had attended some sort of rally last night and was speaking through a megaphone regarding the Governor’s order to wear masks being mandatory as of Friday. “Don’t be a sheep! Don’t be a sheep!” Today he said he only meant that people should think for themselves. (But he doesn’t see the point in criminalizing and charging people with a misdemeanor and won’t likely enforce it.) Yeah, that’s exactly what he meant in a Red county in the state. (picksthemusic - it was Lewis County. The other county with a loud Fortney-like Trumpian sheriff.)

Staff are beginning to report back to work on Monday. Cuomo announced the mandatory quarantine for people coming from hard-hit states. Suddenly I am learning just how many staff are about to return home from Florida and the Carolinas and now can’t come back to work. I continue to be baffled by people doing long-distance leisure travel. One staff informed me that she’s going to S.C. in mid-July and still planning to go. Wtf.

Maybe they just don’t want to risk coming into the office and feel if they say that they get another 2 weeks of WFH.

No, I'm positive this particular staff member is actually going to SC (but would tell me if she ultimately cancels). She's nice, does good work, but good judgment calls aren't necessarily her stretch. She's already reporting back to work starting next week so she's not trying to delay that. We are super strict in our protocols so she will definitely stay home for two weeks after her vacation, but that essentially means she will forfeit employer time for any future need to quarantine (she'd have to use her own days or unpaid leave if necessary).

We’re going to Tahoe mid July. We have a reservation for a house with friends (originally to see Phish whomp whomp) and decided to keep it. Not sure there will be much to do besides hiking, kayaking, and grilling out, which is perfect.
On a tangent, I’m glad Newsom is cracking down on Orange County’s shenanigans. I think he’s been fairly reasonable about working with rural counties (most of which are deep red) when they wanted to move more quickly than the rest of the state in reopening. But Orange County is just ridiculous. Their numbers may look better than some of the hardest hit counties, but they’re still much more affected than any county that’s gotten a waiver.
I know lots of folks from the midwest still going on vacation to Florida or Myrtle Beach. Meanwhile we canceled our trip to Florida and spent 3 days at an airbnb in Tulsa with a pool. Not the beach but still relaxing!

Airbnb still owes me $900 from one canceled trip
Ditto this -- except I am in NC. Many people here from the Northeast in the last couple months. I know people that traveled from NY and PA for a small wedding here in NC last month, baby shower, visit the grandkids. We ourselves went to the SC beaches a few weeks ago and saw cars from all over the NE, mid Atlantic and midwest. My dental hygenists' daughter is getting married this weekend -- she said they are down to about 135 people. I was like holy crap! Our outdoor gathering limit is 25.

On the Nevada side, you can go to the casino!
(Note: I’m not advocating going to a casino in the midst of a pandemic. But, hey, #Nevada)
I know and I am BUMMED that we won’t go! We love love LOVE blackjack, but we’ll pass this trip

Most of us Orange County residents are also glad that he's doing this too. It's really crazy. See my above post about one of the people who makes the decisions for the county....Michelle Steel and her dog mask comments are absolutely ridiculous.
