Do you have a printer you love? If so please recommend! Since DH is now WFH and it looks like this will be permanent, plus the kids may likely return to some elearning during the coming school year we need a good one. Our current one is only a few years old, but the picture quality is poor. Would like to print/copy/scan.
Oh, and what I really love about it is that HP is an app you can download to your phone and then print wirelessly from your phone. I do a lot of work from my phone, so this was huge for me.

Printers can be the worse! My partner got so fed up with the printer graveyard when they stop working after a couple of years. He did a lot of research and we've had this one for a few years now and still doing really well: www.brother-usa.com/products/mfc9130cw

I don't know stuff about technology really, ha, but I think the one I posted above is a laser or fast printer. So I think my partner said that's why it's better quality and lasts longer. I think that's the explanation he gave me previously.
We have this Canon printer, and it's actually lasted us a few years, which I can't say for a lot of others that we've had. Honestly, I haven't figured out how to use the scan option, but it's been great for printing and copying, and I like that I can print wirelessly from multiple devices. It looks to be no longer available from Amazon, but a quick Google shows it's still out there through other retailers.

I think this is very similar to the Brother we just bought.
We had an HP and it was the worst. It always did a several minute self-check every time we went to print and then it said it was out of ink. We hated that one. So far, we like the Brother a lot more, but it's only been 2 weeks!

We have had the same experience with HP, and I feel like we have replaced them a lot.
Our current HP is doing something weird, so we have been using the Brother that DH has out in his office for both personal and work. I can do it from my phone and either walk across the courtyard to get whatever I've printed or wait for DH to come back into the house and bring it in with him. The Brother that he has can print more sizes of paper, so that's a nice feature.

I have a xerox workcenter. I bought it because it’s what we had at my office before I went WFH 4 years ago. It’s wireless so I can print from phones without doing any fancy hookup. I can save emails for quick scans.

We have a previous version of this black and white brother wifi laser linked below. We have had it for about 6 years, and it is super reliable. It doesn't copy or scan, but I just take a picture or use an app to do those things now, so don't need those features anymore. What is does do, is print thousands of pages without the ink going out or drying up. It is way cheaper to operate than any ink jet. We very seldom need color printing, even with a teenager and my DH working from home. Laser is the way to go, if you actually want to be able to print, when you go to print, reliably.

Printers are the biggest PITA. We have two and right now we can't get either of them to work right, lol. I'm at the point of just saying fuckit and buying a new one.
