mbcdefg my DS1 was 3 and was pee trained fine but didn’t want to poop on the potty. I was pretty sure it wasn’t developmental or an issue of it being too hard to go. I know you’re always supposed to use positive reinforcement, but we’d tried that for months already. He still had a pacifier at night and I told him any day he pooped in his pants, he couldn’t have the pacifier for bed. It worked right away and I ended up being glad he hadn’t given up the pacifier yet.
What age do kids start reliably dressing themselves? My 2 yr old *can* dress herself, but if I left it up to her it could take literally all day. I never know if I’m coddling her by dressing her, or if I should force it a little more to be done on her own.
The pediatrician asked us at our 4 year old check-up...well he CAN dress himself for the most part, but that doesn’t mean he WILL. Tonight he put his own pajamas on and I was so impressed, but then he lied to my face and said he put a pull-up on when he didn’t.

Haha yes exactly. She was super into it for a little while and was really good only needing very minimal help, but now the thrill has worn off. She just runs around the room or does any sort of behavior other then put on her clothes. But it sounds like 4 is the more typical age so we have some time.

I wouldn't worry about it at 2. Let her try it out if she wants to and you have time. DD1 was mostly independent by the time she turned 4, but still needed some help with buttons and snaps, and still put her clothes on backwards or inside out a lot (actually, she still puts her clothes on backwards a lot at 5.5).
1) Toddler girl hair product recommendations? DD has thick, wavy/curly hair. I use a co-wash for cleansing, but it seems like she needs a leave in product of some sort.
2) I can't remember from when DS was this age. When will DD (newly 2) go to sleep at night without so much yelling? She is in her crib still, 90% of the time when we put her in is drama/yelling/crying. She is laying down and it seems to just be her way of winding down, but is this still normalish?? She goes down for her nap without issue and STTN.
I recently started using Curls Blueberry bliss leave in conditioner on myself and I love it. It’s recommended a lot for wavy/curly hair.
