Those might be overkill for spinning, but they are all really good quality shorts.

How did you figure out which size to get? I measured my waist at 45" but that is way off the size chart apparently. I normally wear a size 14-16 clothes.

dutchgirl678 The reviews say to order your normal size. One thing to keep in mind is that cycling shorts are supposed to be TIGHT--not loose *at all*. You don't want the chammy (say "shammy") moving around and shifting. Could you maybe order two pairs in different sizes to see which one fits better?
