Official wishlist thread for 2020, please post your links here.
Also, we all realize that no one knows what this year will look like, so please add stuff that might be a bit "out of the box" if you think it will help your students/families during the school year.
If you are new, here is the info for making sure your address is showing against your wishlist:
Some of us would like to help out with school supplies!
Before posting your list, please go into your list settings and make the following changes:
-Edit the Recipient name. Please be aware if you don't change this option, your full name can be seen. It's best if you make the Wish List name and the Recipient name the same so there is no confusion when selecting a shipping address. -Change list privacy to public. -Assign your personal shipping address to the list.
Is there a way to have a moderator pin this? I don't see one for ML. EllieArroway
This is so nice— I love it every year. I work for a private school and usually get whatever I need, so I won’t post a list but I’m excited to help out some others.
There is so much uncertainty this year that I can’t even get excited about school supplies 😭
I teach the ENL Kindergarten class in my school. That means if the students receive ENL services, they are in my class, but not every child in my class receives services. The first several items on my list are things that I am trying to purchase to make a home kit that the students can use for virtual learning, if and when that is decided. They are things I wished the students had access to and my colleagues often assumed they did, so assignments were created with that assumption. Grr.
ETA: I say this every year, but if an item is available "used" or you have one used to donate, they definitely don't need to be new!
I am just a teacher’s daughter, but this program will donate masks directly to schools in your area. You can enter your zip code to choose the school. A great option for districts who will have face-to-face instruction:
I am a special education teacher at an urban school in Boston. The students I work with specifically are those who are struggling to learn to read. I love my students and I love my job! Thank you for any donation!!
**Used condition is fine for ANYTHING!!!! Thank you!!!!**
I’m also considering making take home lab kits for my kids, obviously no liability with chemicals but things like baking soda, borax, pipettes, etc. But that would be 120+ take home kits and it’s so daunting to think about.
You are all so generous with your donations to our classrooms! Thank you!
I moved to a new school this year so I'm not entirely sure what I'll need yet, but the supplies I've had the hardest time getting from my previous schools are on this list, plus a novel my department chair is enthusiastic about me teaching but doesn't have the money to buy for me. The power strips are for students who didn't bring charged chromebooks to class--I suspect this will be a huge problem on an ongoing basis, and since we're not supposed to share supplies or have the kids sit close enough to one another to collaborate on paper the best alternative will be virtual tools even when we're in the classroom.
To give you some background on the school, we're a Title 1 high school with one of the biggest minority student populations in Salt Lake City.

I am an elementary music teacher who teaches students in grades DK-5 in a title 1 school. I have no idea what is happening with my job next year. Decisions won’t be made until August and I’m just doing my best to keep it together. I don’t know if I’ll be virtual, on a cart, regular or unemployed.
I also probably won’t be able to sing or use instruments next year with the kids so 90% of my lesson plans will have to be redone. It’s going to be very one interesting year! I’m stocking up on books that I can use as jumping points for social emotional lessons for my students. I have none since this is all brand new. If anyone can help and purchase a book or something else on my list for my lessons next year, I would REALLY appreciate it.
And, If anyone has any suggestions on good social emotional/mindfulness books to add, please send them my way!

I’m an elementary librarian. Our library is technically a learning commons so in addition to my normal librarian duties I facilitate project based learning activities and STEM activities for students as well. My list includes supplies for that as well as some wishlist books.
My normal funding is almost all from hosting book fairs. School was cancelled the day my last book fair was scheduled to begin so I’m going into this school year with no extra funds. I’m also not sure if we’ll be in person, virtual or blended so far.
I am in Canada so I’m not sure how that will affect people purchasing from my list.... Thanks for considering me, it’s greatly appreciated!
I am a K-5 music teacher. No singing is allowed at all this year, and unless I have a designated class set of something, I’m not allowed to use any materials that would otherwise be shared. I have no idea what or how I am going to teach next year, but I thank you in advance for anything you can help provide for my kiddos.

Hi everyone!
I'm a K-2 special education teacher. I teach students with academic, social, behavioral, and functional/life skill deficits.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My school, unfortunately, starts us out with $0. So everything I use is bought myself (or donated from my generous friends)
You guys are the best! ❤️ I always try to send a little something to people off of here as well. It was so exciting to get to school and see my packages last year. I am a kindergarten teacher and we are currently going back full time face to face. It's sure to be an interesting year.
Thank you in advance for considering this middle school special ed/STEM inclusion teacher. All of the special education students for the grade level will be in my class this year. I had 2 of the 7th grade classes last year so am excited to have those kiddos again. A lot of them struggled with focusing at home, so I added the fidgets that they enjoyed to my wishlist with the hopes that I can send every sped kiddo home with a fidget, some pencils, and a highlighter. Then if I have enough, sending home with the gen eds a pencil and highlighter. My school is a low income school in the burbs of Chicago.

We’re returning in two weeks and I’m freaked out. I lost my library position in my last district due to cuts and was lucky enough to get picked up by a neighboring district, but it means I don’t qualify for FMLA.
I need gloves and sanitizer for handling books. I’ve stocked up on masks and face shields. :/

I will be returning to my high school classroom on Aug 13 with 100% option full time, masks required. I teach in a small rural community who average between 30-40 percent free and reduced lunch. We had no budget to order items and I am worried we don’t have supplies to keep our kids safe. I have put any cleaning wipes or hand sanitizer as things that would be greatly appreciated. I have been buying as I see, but disinfecting wipes are difficult to come by here. Some items are high quantity number such as pens/pencils because they will be given to students to keep as I don’t know how to try to clean them in between students on top of cleaning my room many times a day.
Thanks for doing this again! I got a gift card last year and it really touched me that someone I had never met in person cared to buy supplies for my class! I am an ESL teacher who travels to three elementary schools. I switched from middle school Spanish so I am still trying to build up my ESL teaching supplies! Anything would be appreciated and used with my students!

rootbeer53 thank you for the books (kids are gonna read some science this year again!) and magnetic sheets! I’m making magnet atoms for each student, so they can manipulate them without having to use paper. Thank you!
I am entering my 2nd year as a high school special ed teacher. I have a self contained room for moderate to severe kiddos. Thank you for your support!!

ssmjlm Thank you for the Play Doh!In Kindergarten, Play Doh can be used for So MANY THINGS! Fine motor, letter formation, sight words, many, many math activities! It's going in the package each student gets for home learning.
melmel48 , thank you so much for the book! It's in Spanish and English, and encourages multilingual families to read to the student. I work really hard on the come connection and am usually pretty successful getting parents in to the classroom. That won't be happening this year, no matter how it goes.
